Description

Looks like anni prices have dropped down to
Stone of Jordan
levels.

How are there so many in circulation? I’ve found a
Ber
, a
Zod
, two SOJs, but I still have no freaking idea how to get an Anni - the whole “find a group of people running on the same IP and pay two SOJ” or something like that seems like a massive pain in the ass, and would suggest that Anni should still cost more than an SOJ right?

I know there was a patch preview that they were looking to adjust
Diablo Clone
spawn but nothing has been confirmed.

My question is - given what a pain it is to farm, how are there so many Annihili in circulation to the point where supply and demand with SOJ is at equilibrium right now?

Very interesting question. Perhaps the number of SOJs needed to drop a dclone is not as high as before, but perhaps one of the guys who is experienced with this has a better answer.

Had a Dream about getting a

I’m tempted to buy one now, but I’m wondering if people are speculating on the patch changes and Anni pricing are going to continue sliding like torch pricing. In that case I can hold off - but a small charm that gives 10-20 all res is such a game changer so I can actually pick stuff up without having to open inventory and put it in cube…

I bought myself some right now too, just complete come chars.

Mind you, I captured one early on in a 2SOJ event, so it hurts a bit.

Just like the 10/10 sorc torch I bought 3 weeks into the start of the game for
Vex
2
Ist
, ouch!

I sold my first SOJ for an
Ohm
. I should’ve just held onto it if I didn’t need to spend it. An SOJ is a defacto HR. It’s equally liquid as any other rune as opposed to most (even valuable) gear that is much more illiquid.

Yeah, prices dropped significantly. For example, first one i got (13-13-6) i sold for
Ber
easily. Now I won't get even
Sur
for such a stonie. And more and more annies are enterin the market - which means the prices will keep goin down.

It seems likely that the number of game slots on a server is greater than the number of SOJs needed to summon
Diablo Clone
.

So you are getting more annis in circulation than the number of SOJs spent. On top of that, people are selling their old annis as they upgrade, depressing prices for lower rolls.

There are a small group of people that have been selling unid annis for SoJs like hot cakes. They have a massive amount of annis, can't get rid of them fast enough from what I can tell, and annis might actually be worth less than a SoJ at this point.

As for how, probably something like this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Diablo/comment ... u_need_to/

The DClone event is pretty dumb as it is now, but hey, cheap annis for the masses.

It is time for the clone event to be patched (hopefully)

Nice article.
I already thought of something similar, but I would not have expected such dimensions.

Well I guess it makes sense that the servers are in Mumbai. It makes no sense for a US based person to go through that much pain to make a few thousand dollars. Interesting.

Someone also said that “it makes zero sense to MF if I can flip for an
Ohm
Rune in FG on JSP”, well part of the thrill of the game is actually playing it and seeing gold, green, and orange items drop.

This defeats the purpose and can’t possibly be intrinsically enjoyable; so you’re walking around with insane godly gear because you had some off-platform exploit? These people must feel really empty inside.

Anyway, thanks for the read. Fascinating thread.

They’re not that cheap! SOJ seems to be worth a
Sur
and two
Ist
now…I’m not spending an appreciating asset on a depreciating one. Guess I’ll have to suffer without for a bit longer 😋

Oh man, I hope the annis I bought were source ethically :s

In that same article, some body said that they accumulated an insane amount of Wealth doing it. Dang. Oh well, will wait until annis have a different method to spawn to get another one.

That, or if they tank to
Vex
level prices then I buy another one
