I just did my very first ubers run, and I got this absolute BEAUTY.

Anyone have any idea what its worth?

You can get anything you want and even more this is the most valuable Torch in the game. Probably the most valuable item across all that exist.
Considering that has perfect roll, I cannot even comprehend what could match its value, this is priceless. GG man!

Also wondering if I should just hold onto it for a few months. The prices of runes will go down as time goes on, but this will always be a perfect paladin torch.

True. I totally agree with you in all aspects. That guy tried to trick you. Enigma is still not enough for it.
