Running Hell Andy, Ancient Tunnels, Meph, Diablo & Baal w/ 400% MF - No loot

Description

At the start of the new ladder, I got pretty lucky and found a
Shako
(
Harlequin Crest
), TalRasha ammy (
Tal Rasha's Adjudication
), and
Arachnid Mesh
. I'm a Blizz sorc, and I'm also using Oculus (
Ist
) w/ 35% FCR Spirit shield,
Skin of the Vipermagi
, Nagel, bunch of Resist charms, and a
Gull
Dagger
& Rhyme on weapon swap. I've stacked Magic Find to where it's nearly 400%.

I've been running these bosses and spots going on 50+ runs now, and my luck has apparently... vanished. I can't find a single thing worth picking up after days of running. Anyone else reach a point in this game where you just want to quit because you're so bored out of your mind doing the same thing over and over and it not being rewarding at all?

Just do something else. Be that in-game our out of game. After all, gaming should be fun and not a mindless grind.

That having been said..yeah, drops somehow seem unusually bad this season for me.

Sometimes it happens from nothing loot for dozens of runs the game trolls you but luck turns, persevere and it will pay off that's it diablo it's intensive farming and even with that the game trolls sometimes.
Don't be angry with the game look for example on my hr loots this season 1
Lo
, 4
Sur
...
the rng of the game sometimes is incredible for better and for worse :)
and of course the more people there are on the part the more chance you have of looting very rare items. #Dropcalcultor
Play for fun and not for loot :) you will never be disappointed [ I said that but I was screaming a few days ago :D ]

Terror
Zones are a nice thing in that aspect. Thought I would never go back to
Flayer Jungle
. :)

You don't have to do them, by the way. Just if you want.

I find it weird that (after your description) you are only not bored if you find stuff continously.

as for the game: it's rng.

OP
I took a break, returned, and found a Verdungo's and a Dracul's- a couple of items I was searching for. But speaking of time spent on the game, I'm amazed at how people commit to rushing to 99, especially on Hardcore.

I'll have to add
Terror
zones to the rotation.

I was burnt out and was being a whiny bitch and needed a break. I fully expected a fountain of gilded fortune to endlessly pour forth. No, well, I at least expected to see plenty of Uniques & Set items, even if they were mid or low. Seeing those golds and greens constantly pop is a big motivator for me to keep going. It's only boring when one puts so much time and effort into countless runs to hit a weird dry spell that lasts days and yields only crappy Magical blues and Rares.

But I'm (still) learning that's the game, and some people dedicate far more time and energy toward it than I do.

I came into ladder a little more than a week ago, and I've found drops to be a little low. I had to go all the way to Hellforge NM to finally get a
Ko
rune. I made a
Double Bow
Harmony and pushed on to act 5. Then in the
Bloody Foothills
a Goldstrke Arch bow dropped. It's not the best weapon around but it should get me to act 1 Hell, then I'll upgrade and continue until I can get better. One thing I've noticed is there are a lot of people using rush services. They're starting outfitted with top tier stuff and are being lead in groups of 4 or 5 by a high level build. I joined a of game at level 38 and a level 88 Sorc with 4 lower level level players tailing along and in a short time the Sorc went hostile on me. This happened more than once before I quit joining public act rush games. So don't feel bad, this and Immoral King Forge are my best find so far. Try varying your search.

Please post offer in item trade before adding me on Bnet, I'm in EST time zone (E Coast U.S)

50+ isn't a lot of runs, also speed over MF as it has diminishing returns. Welcome to the Diablo casino and best of luck

For me it's always been a matter of *not* looking for specific items. Usually I get better luck with drops while getting from point A to B. That said, the moment I start target farming feels as if said items have been completely deleted from the game.

Definitely take a breather whenever needed, it helps.

I'd say you are doing pretty well from what you are geared with. Yes, last ladder, my luck seemed way better. I'm running a Hammerdin and the best thing I've gotten is a
Gul
rune off my Hell forge. I'm running Spirit sword and Spirit shield and just rare and magic gear for resists with a whopping 10% magic find from charms. I've been running Tower and Arcane for keys and have only managed to drop 4 keys total. I also run the
Terror
zones when I like them, but no luck there yet either. It's just a game, it kills time, I hope to pick up an Anni tomorrow if I catch a run.

Please post a trade offer before sending me a friend request.
I'm in the PST time zone, typically available anywhere from 7am to 10pm
