I never change c the sound while playing which is likely the reason I did not encounter this issue. But for me, it regularly crashes when I close the game.

I also have an issue that the display life/mana numbers on orbs randomly toggles on and off. Does any one else has this issue?
I might have this issue but it's more likely that I accidentally left-click the orbs sometimes, which turns the text on and off.

Usually looking for Runes, Essences, PGems, Tokens, Keys, etc.
Always willing to discuss and negotiate :)

Before adding me on bnet, please comment on the trade so I know who you are!

It’s not a bug that causes it to be turned off, it’s you accidentally clicking the orb in the heat of the moment during chaotic/intense gameplay moments.
That's... indeed a sophisticated explanation. Never realized that clicking the orbs toggles this. Kinda neat, actually :).

Not sure about erratic clicking during gameplay but I occasionally do some untargeted clicking back into the game window when splitting on a ultrawide monitor and/or using multiple monitors.
Didn't know that worked! Yeah, could be an explanation. :D

I've got on SCNL
- Mosaics, Cures, and Hustles
- GG crafted amulets
- Perfect uniques

I solved the crash problem after unpacking the game files using Ladik's Casc Viewer. The game runs much faster with extracted files; launching it through a shortcut with the -direct -txt flag. However, after each update, the game needs to be unpacked again.
Do u play online using unpacked version?
Cos we were warned it might cos us to get banned though

You dont get banned for that. Why would you? I mean I used to do the tricks and tips to original diablo 2 to be able to play it without the CD etc. and people kept saying back then it gets you banned. Still here, never got banned for it.
The moment Activision blizzard starts giving a crap about the state of their game, its not people who edit some files on the priority.
But I do find it hilarious that the game gets more broken every new season.

Same. Suuuper annoying if you need to quickly switch servers for trades -_-

Even if you kill the app with task manager it will make you lose so much time!
A tip to avoid that: if you are bnet friends with the trader, you don't need to switch servers manually. You can enter their game via invite or right click name on in game friends list if they have their games set to joinable. Only reason to manually switch servers is if you want to see the public lobbies from other regions.
Adding to my previous response, and going a bit offtopic, in my mind I was ranting about the following for a couple of hours:
1. People (including me) don't want to add others as friends to do trades or in general due to the terrible user management bnet has. I used to play Hearthstone, and when I quit I was left with dozens of people I never interacted with again. I had to remove them one by one and took me DAYS to get it done.
2. I remember Hearthstone also crashing A LOT when I played, not only D2R. I also remember that community meme-calling Blizzard "small indie company" - I guess it cheks out

My PC is algo high end, I am not complaining from a 2005 Pentium lol
Looks like off topic but… I got encouraged to do a slight friend list clean after reading this, lol.

For my situation I would prefer to add friends for all trades, due to the fact that I think my time zone is in minority on the forum. It will take extra time effort to work out each other’s online time on the forum than add friends on BNet for me. (Like on BNet I can see in how many hours someone is offline, and with their messaging time, I can work out a rough time to trade before I asked for time zone.)

On Topic: I am getting crash on main menu exit a lot as well. Personally I feel “pressing ESC then exit” has higher crashing chance compared with “mouse clicking exit on left hand side”, not sure what caused this.

Reply on the post and add me on BNet for faster trade! (No PM offer pls)
