Can be used to make Runewords:

I used to still put some points into vitality (like 100ish) as an insurance for running into a mana burn elite or massive elemental damage, but with a low requirement base and a fall back for elemental damage in CA i really went the immortal route with zero points into vita, just like 15 into strength and everything else into mana.

With my charms and BO it’s like 2600+ mana points compared to ~2000 before!
What do you do about blood mana curses? Do you tough them out or avoid those areas that have them?

OP
When i get cursed with that i tele a bit away from enemies, then just spam Nova - the curse ends when you get really low on health, within a short time my health is back up - my merc is a Prayer merc, so with Insight he heals me pretty quick.

Equip your merc with Cure (if you can find one on NL), its Cleansing aura will remove curse and poison fairly fast, also gives one more share of health regen when coupled with Prayer.

Thanks, I've been thinking about building a Nova sorc but that blood mana curse makes me think it's a build I couldn't live with for where I like to run. To quote Jesse Ventura from Predator, "I ain't got time to bleed". Keeping my life pool higher than mana seems like too much of a gimp to the build.

The life Regen is tripled, I believe, when your Prayer Merc has Insight and Cure. Right?

If you are offering my asking for price, please feel free to add me on bnet or xbox, you do not need to wait for my confirmation.

Yes, you get three shares of life regeneration if there are Meditation and Cleansing synergistically present with Prayer.

Yup, so i did it: I made an new Infinity in a regular old Poleaxe, only costs like 7k Gold to repair a single Charge of cyclone armour, so it’s not that bad. I did a world Stone keep, trav and Chaos Sanctuary run and my full repair Bill was just under 50k (but i only have 1627 def, even with a lvl 14 shiver armour from my cta staff mod - so i get hit a lot)

With my crazy high mana pool (just a shade under 2600) she’s plenty tanky, i did still have to tele away from the council once when my mana globe was getting low, but you-know p7 council.

I also needed to recast the CA a few times in the world Stone keep… to me that means i was saved by it!

The coolest part though: having cyclone armour, shiver armour, thunderstorm, Energy Shield, Conviction, BO & BC all up at the same time… it’s just a wild sight.

I guess if i really wanted to go crazy I’d throw one a “Bone” armour, wait until Bone armour procs, then put everything else on…

Wait i am totally going to do that!

OP
I threw in a couple Ber runes to keep it form being boring, sorry the image quality sucks

Also: after Bone armour gets proc’d if you cast all your energy shields, BOs, ect, i guess it overrides the Bone armour and it goes away… but it also straight up sux though, most times when i was running around trying to get hit, it got depleted before the casting animation was finished

So sadly you won’t realistically be able to add Bone armour in a useful capacity :(

I forgot to try out Treachery too, and see how Fade plays in all this too, probably later today

Maybe you should also Enchant your Poleaxe if you like the style ;-)

OP
Just tried out Treachery for also having Fade as a pre-buff, another big increase in survivability. However it’s the first spell applied, so after it’s triggered then i swapped it out and cast Cyclone Armor, then Energy Shield, this might be the beginning of a new immortal sorc… any way we can get this skill on charges too? Haha
