MF on an ES Nova sorcq

So, as you might know, I've been struggling with my

Nova sorc. I had a big breakthrough when i learned about quickcast.... it literally solved 90% of my problems.

Now, I am trying to get some MF on this character because unless i do the souls trick, I get all blue items on TZ and I cant do my standard Chaos runs, which is what i do while im at work.

I found a

Blade Of Ali Baba and it gave me an idea:

Griffons Eye w/ big jewel (30 mf)

Blade of Alibaba w/ 2

Ist (150 MF)
Enigma (90 MF)
Renewed sunder (20 MF)
Gheeds (38 MF)
Spirit
+3/10 amulet

Arachnid Mesh

Magefist
2x Soj

This leaves me with 328MF, 110 FCR, 4.5k damage, 581 life, 2.8k mana, level 33

Energy Shield, -34 LR

Is there anything else i can consider? I know i could get MF small charms, but they take up inventory space and that makes it very annoying.

edit: oh, one benefit here that i didnt even realize is the goldfind. Now, i can find enough

Gold to rehire my merc because he's dying all the time. I probably accumulated 3m

Gold today. another thought... did anyone realize that the same people that just are just causal human traffickers can also raise people from the dead? You'd think they'd go and do something with that skill.

I try to run close to 200 mf with my

Nova sorc. Past 200 starts to be fairly diminishing returns, and you have to

Sacrifice a lot on

Nova sorc to get more, which will then slow you down.

Some ways to get there:
- Jewel and sunder, up to 60 combined
- Gheeds, 40
- 7x 17 mana, 7 magic find charms or 7x 11 poison res, 7 magic find charms: 49
-2/10 ammy with magic find, up to 30
- war travelers: 50 (make up needed poison res with small charms)

Caster Boots with poison res, mana, and up to 25 magic find
- use an

Ist or p

Topaz on your second socket, sacrificing a small bit of damage vs a -5 lightning jewel

This still allows you to go Infinity, viper magi, griffin, arachnid, sojs etc, the classic ES

Nova build. Only twist I used to do is war travelers over sandstorm, but I spent a bunch of

Jah on gg ammy and

Caster Boots to get a very slightly better version lol

All that said, I think the

Ring of Fire warlock is a better, cheaper version of the ES

Nova Sorc, even after the nerf.

Only difference is the sorc can

Teleport 1 frame faster.

Ring of Fire warlock (with apoc mixed in as need mainly versus boss,

Herald, or packs behind obstacles) is so strong I’ve been running Insight on merc not Infinity, even after I lost

Conviction hef, and he still wrecks. Kills slightly faster than

Nova sorc, and is an absolute tank with no fear of any monster or

Herald in the game (aside from Ubers)

Still trying to get Infinity to work, but I hate chugging potions and

Ring of Fire is mana intensive.

In the case of equip baba,
you might want to remove Gheeds (38 MF)
to free more space.

Nova sorc 150-200 is good enough. You are sacrify weapon to 150 mf which will makes other part not so important.

In the other aspect, if you add back strong staff weapon, you will need

Gheed and others.

Kill speed is always first thing you need to full. You can have 180 mf that kill 100 monster in 1 min beat up 330 mf that kill 95 monster in 1 min in market value aspect.

I didnt run calculator, I dont know if staff +3 skill -5 res +35 skill does any performance difference to you in real run. You have to run max-roll to see if this trade off worth it.

That difference is like , your other char, if you have Last Wish, then

Goblin Toe isnt that much difference. On the other setup, if you dont use Last Wish,

Goblin Toe is huge.

No Ali Babas, use a self-wield Infinity. It is vital for your damage. If you really want more MF, swap your Griffon for a

Shako. But I would just run with "only" 150 MF but almost double the damage
