magic/rare orbs can have their value but you usually need +2-3 to sorc/cold/fire/lightning skills, +3 to a good skills and +2-3 to the corresponding mastery. Also it's good to have fcr and 2 os (for rainbow facets).
In this case I would say
Death's Fathom
is better for
Frozen Orb
sorcs because of the +cold dmg.

is better, ergo it's worth less than
Ist
. Which is quite sad considering how rare your Orb is.

At level 42 it's a cool item to level up a sorc, but as for trading indeed little to no value
