Favorite D2r Terror Zones

My three favorites are

Chaos Sanctuary, Secret Cows, and

Travincal, and I just missed one of them. I need to pay more attention.

Current TerrorZone(s) ::

The Secret Cow Level: Now
Next TerrorZone(s) ::

Travincal.

Stony Tomb Level 2 for me. I found there the highest rune so far which was a

Cham rune.

Travincal
Forgotten Tower
Worldstone Keep

Travincal and

Bloody Foothills, the quickest runs.

I really like

Tal Rasha's Tombs Personally
alot of "bang for the buck"

My least favorite is

Tristram I hope they either fold that into stony or just drop it personally.

I would dislike

Travincal for the same reason (Small Size) but the council members redeems it for me.

Im also glad that they removed swampy pit, but thats from a HC perspective, dolls in tight spaces is a nightmare to the average HC player, the only reason I run durances is the space to escape.

Adding my voice to most of the mentioned:
- Tombs
- CS
- WSK
- Trav
- Tower

and also:
- Pit

Arcane Sanctuary
- Halls

Arcane Sanctuary on P8 with a light Sorc is amazing. No immunities and easy to spam Lightning in a straight line.

Currently trying to push for level 99 on hardcore that way.

I'm surprised nobody said

Cathedral and catacombs yet. Farming tz andy is an addictive, constant rush of wildly rare and interesting drops

Other favorites for me are

Cold Plains,

Dark Wood, and

Flayer Jungle

All good choices. I suspect some of us run different

Terror Zones based on our builds. A build that can quickly navigate the Catacombs and quickly get to Andy will find it more fun and rewarding. Builds that have to travel on foot might find them a bit too mazy. Some builds might find other zones a bit too challenging. There's a reason why a smiter Paladin is the most commonly used build for running Ubers. I prefer zones that are both challenging and quickly cleared.

That's a good point. I don't see folks who play without Enigma or Sunders being able to run certain areas efficiently enough to be worth doing at all.

Probably depends on how you handle Terrorized zones as well.

I still mostly just kill elites and packs, whatever the non-trash monsters are called, even when a zone is terrorized so

Travincal is perfect.

For the folks who kill everything, I expect Tombs is perfect.

TZ flayer is pretty awesome actually.

The only annoying bit about A3 maps is the navigation while playing through/rushing. For farming TZs, that doesn't matter as you just go to the end and circle back on the other side.
Add in solid density of largely super-low-life mobs and the dungeon for more tightly packed farming and you're golden.

Once TZed, It is actually hell cow but monsters have much less hit points, more elite packs and you don't lose time seaching the leg.

I noticed that some of you identified the

Cathedral/Catacombs as your favorite TZ.
