Description

Pierre Tombale Couant is a moderately powerful polearm. Unlike most two handed weapons, it has the heavy punch necessary to make up for missing out on a shield, due to a high chance for Deadly Strike. Its +3 to Barbarian Skills obviously improves its usefulness for that class, though there are better options available in that regard.

Its lack of life steal and IAS means that it's not a great weapon for mercenaries without support from other gear.

Fun fact, in French, Pierre Tombale means Grave Stone, but I have no idea what "Couant" can mean. Someone's name perhaps...

@Necrarch About the word "couant", it could refer to Western France dialect word "chouan", that originates from Gallic "cauannos" (ankou in Britton) meaning
Howl.. But it's also a rare family name as you say..
