Superior weapon +AR suffix

Hello, just a newb question..
Why is +ar (3 AR) valuable on weapons (mostly superior ones)? I mean, when i look at my attack rating its around 1700+ atm, so +3 isnt no big deal ..
Am I missing something?

It isn't. Not really anyways. If AR is the only superior bonus you got, the weapon tends to not be worth anything significantly more than a non-superior, if at all.

If it has decent +ed and +ar however, it'll typically be worth quite a bit more. But that's solely for the +ed and the +ar is just a side stat that happens to also be there.

Though yes, 15ed/3ar tends to again be worth significantly more than just 15ed. That's not because 3ar is anything worth mentioning though, that's because that combination makes it "perfect". And for that "perfect bonus", every single point matters. At that point, it's just a matter of Principle.
