Played 10 minutes of D4 for the free week, promptly uninstalled. Maybe I'm just a jaded boomer when it comes down to it, but for the love of god I hope Blizz doesn't touch D2 with a ten foot pole. I still don't know how they managed to get itemization, for all its pitfalls, so bloody perfect 25 years ago but they really did. Everything else that has come after has been so painful.
Game is perfect as is, just add more stash tabs so I spend less time muling.

D1 and D2 were made by passionate developers (which were players themselves) for players. Many player becomes shareholder of blizzard but it is not very good experience.
Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.
