Do Artisan's armors worth for LLD?

Hi

The Jeweler's affixes (4 os) is not viable for LLD as it requires L47.

So, my question is:
as you can have normal armor with 4 sockets (like

Gothic Plate or

Ornate Plate),
Are magic armors with Artisan's affix (3 os) and a suffix valuable for LLD?

At least, I image that the list of valuable suffix in this case will probably be shorter as they have to be better than an extra socket

Yes, it seems so. And Artisan's shields too.

I don't know all the valuable affixes, I thought it was just life (of the squid ?).

(i don't do LLD).

But in the case of shields (except for paladin shields), they cannot use a 4 socket normal shield on LLD (

Monarch requires L54)

So a normal and a magic shield can both have up 3 sockets on LLD (same goes for Helms). So any "good" suffix will be valuable for an Artisan's Shield/

In the case of Armor, magic can have up to 3 sockets but normal, in some cases, up to 4 sockets, and because of that in some cases a suffix that would be good on a Jeweler's armor may not be that good on an Artisan's armor because a 4 socket normal armor may be better

Yeah, 80 file is one case that can be better than an extra socket

(Something like 10- dex/str on the other hand would not, as you can socket a

Perfect Emerald /

Perfect Amethyst on the extra socket...)

Another point is that no light normal/exceptional armor can have 4 sockets (only Heavy and Medium), for some build the walk/run penalty can be an issue and so a 4 socket normal armor is not an option

I think can work for lld indeed, with suffixes like +life, +24 fhr, Poison length duration... must be a few others but don't remember all.
