Description

Hello, I've read/seen that
Static Field
's damage is affected by enemy lightning resistance (not increased when negative, but decreased when positive). I was wondering, if someone wielding a
Schaefer's Hammer
or
Stormlash
triggers a
Static Field
against a normally light immune mob and has a sunder charm equipped, does that mean the static will deal 1.25% (which is 1/20th or 5% of the max 25%, since the enemy has 95% resistance now) of the mob's max life? Would it be that miserable without further -LR%?

For me, that's correct, and that's why you have stuff like Infinity and Lightning facets. :)

A Sunder alone in general without any other resistance lowering is not great, it has to be coupled with other sources of -res to be worth the penalty.

Thanks for your reply! If that's the case, it certainly sucks without further resistance reduction. :(

Do remember that 5% is small, but 5% of a crapton of damage is not that bad - way better than no damage at all anyway
