True Tales from a Bowmancer (Added SC NL Prizes!)

The Damage from the

Edge Bow isn't feeling significantly better however the

Thorns aura is certainly pulling some weight.
Did say I wouldn't use

Iron Maiden, however am not opposed to using any buffs given from a Bow

Also, found this little guy in the

Pit of Acheron.. Now, Pit of Archering

Yeah, only affects the fire dmg. Not very useful for this particular challenge (well op can use lower res so kinda?) but you can always find ways to reduce enemy's res or break imm.

This is it, the Final Road in Normal. asides from a quick visit to the cow farm.

Baal took massive damage instantly on his 1st swing at Clayface as you can see in 1st pic of the fight

The Edge most certainly gave me the Edge over the rest of this Run, but more on that in the Summary . . .

Summary for Normal Difficulty

Thank you for the Good Luck Oglesbeard, it will certainly be needed heading into Nightmare

Starting with Skills. Didn't plan this one out so well as I thought. thinking this over, should have left

Revive alone and capped

Clay Golem instead of Mastery
Walls, Prison,

Corpse Explosion all had little use in the Run and perhaps could have been left out entirely. Confusion tho fun, feels too over powered at times
and actually makes the killing a bit slower. with that said, Dim could be an interesting CC option but

Decrepify most certainly does the job
Going forward the plan was to continue beefing up Clayface then picking up more Revives for some added much needed DPS, Then perhaps bring Amp up

As for Gear. Felt pretty lucky so far scoring

Hsarus' Iron Heel

Boots from Anderial,

Bloodfist came from a Corpse in

Rocky Waste
Got the Artic

Belt in

Tal Rasha's Tombs (or maybe that was the 2nd pair) and managed to melt down enough runes to craft the Edge
EDIT: How could I forget the

Nagelring from Chaos! Also got my hands on some decent charms ranging 3-16% Res with added damages or FHR
as for any Gear changes; Got a new amulet +1 Max DMG with 27% Light Res and that's it.
Merc still has same

Ral bow from very beginning sadly and even more sad, still no unique bow found

Overall. This has felt more like a summoner run then Bone necro run as was expected. Playstyle had to change from trying to be the DPS to ..
Having to be the crowd controlling laid back kinda style. From Act 2 Forward slowly the scales tipped in favor of the Mercenary become the Main Character
Being that Summoner is my favorite build in Diablo, I'm actually all for this. and Once the Edge was placed in the Hands of this Bowmancer ..
It all became very familiar, like a Bramble Summoner but you purchased it from Wishdotcom. However I was relying on this from the very beginning
The Edge was most certainly what I was banking on to get me thru half the game at least till I find something Better

The Experience has once again been fun. Facing new challenges and learning more about the game is all worth it to me
Now it's time to farm up some cows in hopes for better charms or jewelry in preparation for Nightmare!
No Lie, not feeling very confident. but am hoping what I've heard is True and that the Golem scales with Difficulty
Otherwise may have put myself in a tight spot weather or not to use my NM Respec to correct the build . . .

I believe it was in combination with a

Fire Arrow from the Mercenary but yea' that 1st chuck you see missing happened instantly!

Thorns? Like there's more beyond just using Bramble? That's what my Main Summoner has now alongside Beast and Infinity

Also like to add in a Thank you for all the has been following along, helping and encouraging me through out this journey!

I can use all it all as this is no easy task. But it's Fun and will finally answer simmering question nobody's been asking. . .

I’ve always been fascinated by that prospect too. My current project is a

Thorns/poison Bear Druid. Only in the 20s so far, so it’s mostly just

Maul-ing alongside my

Poison Creeper right now, and it’s working for normal.

Planning to max

Poison Creeper and its Synergy in

Rabies, max

Spirit of Barbs, wear Bramble and any other

Thorns and +poison dmg gear I can get.

I’ll be tanky, and stuff will die eventually. I probably won’t be able to hit anything with

Maul in Hell though.

Couple more things I'd like to add to the Summary ..

Asides from accidently starting the game on players 3 till Countess
Managed to gain 37 levels and one bar away from 38
After clearing every single area killing every single monster!
There was a little Rune Farming on the Count and Chaos
Also thought it's worth mentioning, brought Vitality up to 115
Then rest into Dexterity for more ATT Rating

annd that's pretty much it. gonna smash some cows real quick and call it a night.
if I find anything special, you'll be 1st to know. Otherwise ..

What about Edge plus Edge?

Sorta feels like I discovered some new low leveling Meta for myself.
Don't take much to make an Edge, slap that on the A1 Merc ..
and everything you've amplified that touches you or your Golem dies

That was something else felt was worth mentioning. Mercenary only died 3x
Where as typically I won't even bother with the Merc until NM A2 cause they die so often early game

Back to farming Cows. With

Thorns Aura, they practically Farm themselves
