Hi everyone, I'm a Zealot who uses Fanaticism and I wanted to give a good build to my merc.
I currently have Atc 2 with Holy Freeze and I was thinking of replacing it with one with Might and giving a weapon that contains the word Doom so as to always get Holy Freeze to slow down the enemies. What do you recommend? Other runic words for Merc (any act). Maybe Pride Runeword?
The only annoyance is when obviously I encounter enemies with physical resistance.
And also to have a solid merc for the Pandemonium Event

Hard to say. But you can try reapers+Treachery+guillies first.
It is a cheap setup.
Decrepify will slow your enemy down and increase your physical damage.

One problem with Holy Freeze and Pride is that it freezes enemies so less drops
im using on merc Eth reapers toll best for zealot coz psyh immune -cant c any other option
Does a zealot really need Holy Freeze? I've never used Holy Freeze on zealot when I can get damage from might.

I switched from Grief to Azurewrath on my Zealot and now Phys Immunes aren't a problem anymore. Moderate damage loss switching away from Grief, but can socket Azure to add Deadly Strike, Crushing Blow or IAS+ED jewel. Jm2c
Might and Pride merc would provide the biggest damage boost. Holy Freeze aura would provide more survivability.
As mentioned above, reapers toll is a nice budget item that can proc Decrepify. So it depends on your budget and whether you need more damage or survivability.

I am currently running a zealot with a few points in Smite, first off as far as merc in ubers he is going to die regardless, I'm running Insight and fort on a might merc and although I do have a sunder for the physical immunes I don't have a problem killing anything in hell, dclone, or Uber Tristram.
