Description

Cast on the corpse of a slain monster, toxic gas is released that poisons nearby monsters.

Like
Corpse Explosion but with poison damage. However, it has much less killing power than its cousin; most characters that invest into this skill only do so to synergize with stronger poison skills, like
Poison Nova.

This spell permits the Necromancer to accelerate the decomposition of a corpse to an alarming degree.

So rapidly does the corpse putrefy, that the toxic gases, normally accumulated in dead tissue over time, explode forth from the carcass in a cloud of poisonous vapors.

If you are playing in Resurrected mode, this ability's projectiles provide a small radius of light, illuminating the dark slightly.

Before synergies existed, this skill would create the cloud around the corpse then slowly go outward further and further in a lingering ring with higher skill levels. The code was weird and not sure if it could be returned to its old functional self.
