Sorc Amulet

It will go to the Fire Sorc of my son when he reaches lvl 50. But does it have any worth when lacking one skill point?

Compared to a mara's, it has:
- Better stats
- Better res (because it fills the Spirit gap)
20 mf
- 1 less skills

Are those benefits worth the -1 skill?

For a "weak" char, yes. For a "strong" one, maybe. They don't need more def and prefer higher kill speed. The biggest upside is 20 extra mf. But would you trade a SoJ for a 20 mf ring? Me neither.

With 2 skills or fcr it would have been valuable.

All sorcs want 2/20s, so you 1/0 is a real niche item.
Due to that, the resell value is lower (you can always sell a maras), which lowers it's current value.

As is, I think it is as valuable as a good maras to some.

Thanks at both of you for your estimation. I had similar thoughts. My son has a 30 Maras, too and therefore he can test what fits him better - I suspect in the end he will take the Maras

Forgot one more thing: Maras also boosts you offhand BO.
