Description
Think it would be useful if the tooltip pop up and/or the item info after clicking on a base item shows where it could be bought. Act/from who. What ya think?

could potentially get pretty complicated. vendors only sell normal and socketed items up until ilvl 25+ (clvl 20+). After ilvl 25 vendors only sell magic items and no longer normal or socketed quality. act 1 normal has an ilvl Cap of 12. act 2 normal has an ilvl Cap of 20. act 3 normal has an ilvl Cap of 25. act 4 normal has an ilvl Cap of 36. act 5 normal has an ilvl Cap of 45.

Ah right so like how do I interpet this list? Like can you determine what items can be gambled based on character level or is it something different? Just thinking I could make a small tool out of what Udyret wrote but not sure how to interpet it.
Character level affects which base items are allowed to appear in the gambling window (and their ilvl). However, this is mostly irrelevant for characters past level 56 — every item has a chance to be shown at this point. The list here is helpful for anyone trying to gamble at a lower clvl for the purpose of reducing the pool of possible bases, craft lower level items, etc.Teebling wrote: 5 years agoAh right so like how do I interpet this list? Edit: I should add that the chance for these items to appear is also determined by the -5 to +4 clvl interval, which is the same expression applied to an item's final level when gambling it.

the list show the lowest ilvl each item can spawn with. but you can gamble items with ilvl +4 clvl. so at level 1 you can gamble ilvl 1-5, at level 2 you can gamble 1-6, at level 3 you can gamble 1-7 etc. i found it useful to know when i could gamble certain items while i was leveling. mainly to gamble for better belts with more slots early.
Cool I could make a mini tool for this then if people would find it useful.
