Right, but then no curse.

Booooo!

Ok, if they're limited to 3 affixes, I think a unique can't roll with Holy Freeze already and still get lightning + Stone + cursed. You'd have to find one with no aura, and then get lucky with Holy Freeze on binding.... unless rolling with an aura is somehow linked with some of those other affixes.
Welcome to the neverending search for the perfect pokemon demon.
It really is a game in and of itself
Sure is! When I'm "on the hunt", I purposefully gear down to start games with a weaker demon so she doesn't one shot everything. So no skillers, no super +demon skills gear, etc. I keep my Chaos or eldrich gear on to help with clear. I jump into a packed Tz game, summon one defiler and Consume it, then head into Ancients --> WSK1 --> Frigid --> Frozen River looking for lancers with just the current bound demon and merc (note: Merc has to de-equip Delirium because Confusion procs render demons unbindable). It is a much slower clear, because I want to find packs and examine their pack leader, and I also want to clear space around them so I don't get piled on while trying to bind--I've lost a lot of great bind opportunities because I got distracted and meanwhile my demon offs the pack leader. D'oh. Once I'm satisfied with a bind or just tired of the chase, I switch up to full demon prebuffs so I can "play the game".

I had to Sacrifice my merc for the cause the other night because she was killing prospects before I even had a chance to fully analyze them lol

Looked through the amazon basin stats some more. The WSK1 lancers in champion and unique also have scaled up stats, as expected if it is real. Lower on each page they have the full stats listed including the HP and damage ranges (stats in the summary table are just avg).

At around players 4-5, the HP Cap will negate the huge HP advantage the WSK1 lancers have, as the lancers should all be capped at 13.2 + 660 per +player count. Also, champions and uniques at P2 hit the Cap.

The damage difference stays, as it is not capped, but the damage, while impressive, is still a lot less than Bind Demon adds. It's about a 16% increase in damage at Bind Demon lvl 14 I believe, so not nothing, but not game changing.

So I think focusing on WSK1 lancers mostly applies to 1 point wonder binding, and even then if you can bind in a P4-5 game, it starts not to matter, as it only makes an ~16% difference in damage output (I'm lvl 14 bind w/ my 1 point). Doubled defense also remains, but defense isn't the most important stat.

(Edited, again)

Sorry, had a miscalc in my spreadsheet and was pulling Hp from blunderbores. Was just replying to say that your post tracks with my calculations, below: At P7, normal lancers hit the health Cap (actually, at P5, normals hit about the same Hp as a capped P1 Matrons Den lancer or theoretical higher Hp WSK1 lancer), whereas champs/uniques hit the Cap at P3. If WSK1 lancers really do have higher HP, that would make it an ideal farming spot for normal lancers in lower player count games.

Edit: I only used min of the Hp range and scaled up for Tz 96 levels according to their linear scaling with level (+69 to min Hp per level, +132 to max Hp per level), so in reality, you might hit caps sooner in most cases.

Why does the HP for normal lancers on P4 increase from 11k to 13k post bind?

Oops, I wrote out a long calculation, but you are right. I think the cell is adding the 660 to the min HP, which is shouldn't be doing. Editing again...

Open parenthesis in the wrong place... thus, instead of raising the Cap in the min function for each Player count, it was adding the 660 to the min of the lancer HP. Thanks for the proofing! I think it is correct now. That was some garbage work :-). Should have done it in R.

Update - just took advantage of the WSK TZ half hour to bind a WSK1 lancer.

Unfortunately, I’m pretty sure they do not have higher hit points. I kept one shotting them with Ring of Fire, which would be impossible if they had 28k hit points. I did bind one, but I can’t believe based based on that she will be better.

That’s too bad. Maybe the matrons den ones are buffed though, but they can’t get TZ affix.

I wonder if it used to be higher, but Blizz silently nerfed it as part of a recent patch

Cycling demons lately and ended up with this one last night: Should have 125 cold res, 85 fire res and 100 light res, but only 33 physical res :-(. Going to need to find a Stone Skin version. Also just made Mist in a Demon Xbow (lvl 11 conc roll, only 345% ED), so I'll see how she does with Fanat + Conc, although I'll miss the Amp procs from Witchwild.
