Abyss Warlock build

I started my journey with a Abyss warlock, but switched to fire one as i felt that clear speed was not great, my gear was sub optimal ( Shako, Spirit sword, maybe arachnids mesh)

Then I made Void, and it rolled good, so decided to give another chance and dam this wrecks.
I basically have endgame gear, tough Belt and book could roll a bit better.

Diablo(TZ) dies under 2s, just whip chains across the spawn point. Most mobs also go with just one Abyss cast.

Currently 91lvl, nothing too major in the skill tree, maybe that I don't use binding at all, extra points in Consume and demon mastery to get 2 summons.

What's your gear like?

Is see you rolled a 3 Abyss in a 3 Abyss. I'm still looking for a +3 Abyss base. I have a +3 chains base, which I've considered using. Obviously the way to go is to find +3/+3 for those, but I'm on single player and unlikely to come across that one for a long time.

I figure Abyss gets cast more, and so the base should probably cater to that. But I'm not actually sure.

I will eventually build Void at some point, if nothing else, just for chronicle so I'm holding out for a 3/3 Abyss/chains Kris either by drop or by trade

Well if you run a lot of MF it's going to be a while. I'm currently farming NM cows with zero MF specifically for this item. I'm not sure whether 3 Abyss is good enough. I have two chams at the moment, so I can make the runeword.

Interesting. So NM cows are lvl enough to drop an item capable of rolling something worth risking the runes on or is it more about the level of the char doing the rolling?

I can easily drop under 100MF and still have pretty decent equipment

This is what I'm basing that on. (It has nothing to do with char level unless you're looking at TZ level)
Maxroll says even normal cows can drop it if terrorized (note the minim item level of 37). However, I farm nightmare because a lot of grand charms drop.

At the moment I'm farming with zero mf, and it makes a huge difference between that and even just adding engima's MF. I'm using a Nova sorc with Crescent Moon and Ormus (maybe I should swap that for a 4os facet armor) and a 4 socket facet shield. You can't self wield Infinity because of the MF.

For normal I ran a fire sorc with HOJ, and dual Dragon (you can't run Dream because of mf). That was very efficient at taking out p7 normal cows. But I ultimately wanted skillers. I have found several +1 Abyss knives so far, so I'm sure it can roll where I am.

I have a +2 Abyss/+2 Bind 3OS I've been saving for the same reason lol

I did some more testing, and a Dragon sorc CAN farm nightmare cows at p7. You have to drop down a Teleport level (Flickering Flame) and you really want static. I dropped to p5 so that cows die faster.

I prefer farming p7 with Nova with Crescent Moon and jeweled Monarch. Merc holds Infinity. You can spec Warmth for regen.

Maxroll says even rolling a 3 Abyss with 1 point in miasma is a 1/20,000 roll. That's a lot of nightmare cows. I'm going to move on with the 3 Abyss or the 3 miasma.... but which one?
