My first Jah

Hey everyone. Just had my first high rune drop ever - a Jah from Arcane Sanctuary.
Totally random - it happened the other day.

So my question is - what do I do with it? Should I build towards the mystic Enigma?

Getting my first Enigma totally changed the game for me, and I think it's hard to argue for a better Jah rune word.

This is assuming you are offline. Online, you could trade down to get your CTA, Grief or other nice stuff.

you should go sit in a dark, cold, dampy cave with it and obsess over it for the next 500 years until a mean hobbit tricks you and steals it from you. But seriously, turning that amazing luck into Pride (I mean the feeling, not the runeword) through making an all-powerful Enigma sounds like fun to me!

First you get a Ber, a Lo and a Vex, too.
Now the boring thing to do would be making Enigma, Fortitude/Grief and Heart of the Oak. That would be reasonable, make the game easier and arguably more fun.

F*** mainstream, put everything into a Destruction and enjoy the screen erupt into fireworks.

if you're playing online you can find someone that trade Enigma strait from 1 Jah, that's what I've done, and boy, Enigma changes the game forever

Put it in a 1os Helm for the 5% increased maximum life.

Do not make the mistake and ignore the advices anyway. Just be patient. Look around which base to use for Enigma, so you can use it with every character you gonna play later on (strenght requirements). Besides Enigma, prioritise Call To Arms, which you want to have on every Class too.

I agree the best use is to trade for Enigma. That said, usually when Enigma is available for 1 Jah it is in a crappy base. I would either:

a) Wait for a decent base available for 1 Jah, because it does happen. Mage Plate, Archon Plate, Dusk Shroud, Wyrmhide, Wire Fleece, Scarab Shell are all fine.

Archon Plate is probably the most tradable (looks + high def + reasonable str requirement). Dusk Shroud is worst looking, but best str/def balance. Mage Plate is probably my go to and will be the most flexible.

OR

b) Combine with another rune like Jah + Ohm or Jah + Lo to get a decent base if you don't want to wait for a deal to come around (but they do exist if you're patient). But you can find a decent base Enigma quickly for 1.5 Jah by trading, which is much better than making your own.

If single player, put it towards Enigma in a Mage Plate.
