Description

So, I had some spare points on my Warlock and put one base point (+7 total skill points, 41% chance) to
Bind Demon
, but I have been trying to bind a single demon for about 30 minutes, and none would bite the hook, before my merc comes around and smashes them 😂. I guess I have to damage them first without killing them?

Can be used to make Runewords:

Short answer:
Yes, it works.

Longer answer:
It depends on the demon type, dmg taken, how you're using it and so forth...

First and foremost, don't just click and cast but actually hold down the skill so it keeps channeling.
Once you do that, it'll keep trying to bind until it succeeds.

If while you do that your lock stays quiet, just keep channeling (and watch your merc so he doesn't kill the demon).
If however your lock says he can't do that, you'll need to damage the target a bit more first (again without killing it).

You also need a higher base level of bind (base points, not counting +skill from gear) for certain mob types. Specifically, 10 for champions, 15 for uniques and 20 for super uniques. If you don't meet that min base lvl, you can't bind those and will need to settle for binding trash mobs instead.

Thanks! I knew I could bind only White mob and that's what I tried... I guess I need to try without damage buffs and merc...

Try binding in 8 player games. Tends to make it a bit easier as your bind target is a bit more sturdy and safer from accidental kills.
