6. Takeaways
- I started the challenge going straight to The Countess upto run 620. It was when I saw two runs before me (mikelessar's stats here and Florian_G's stats here) showing High rune drops from unique/champion mobs on their way to Countess that I changed my approach also. And yeah I sure lucked out on the Sur drop just when I'm nearly finished with the challenge. With this result and the two previous 1000 Countess runs before me, you can say that adding a minute or two in killing the unique and champion packs that pass your way is doable in running Countess.
- My runs become longer after the 620th run but my drops of Worldstone shard increased a lot also.
: Western Worldstone Shard (7 in 620 runs) at 37 upon challenge end. 30 shard gain for the last 380 runs.
: Eastern Worldstone Shard (6 in 620 runs) at 34 upon challenge end. 28 shard gain for the last 380 runs.
: Southern Worldstone Shard (4 in 620 runs) at 16 upon challenge end. 12 shard gain for the last 380 runs.
: Deep Worldstone Shard (3 in 620 runs) at 15 upon challenge end. 12 shard gain for the last 380 runs.
: Northern Worldstone Shard (2 in 620 runs) at 16 upon challenge end. 14 shard gain for the last 380 runs.
- Black Marsh has lots of shrines so ready some Flawless Amethyst as some of those will be Gem Shrines. I found 35 Gem Shrines in total.
- You may want to check on the Armor stand and Weapon Rack for runeword bases (tho in my case most of the good ones are from the Armor stand with those multiple 3os Tiaras and a 3os Sup Diadem). Came in pretty helpful for my other chars, especially for my Abyss warlock (2os +3 Abyss, +2 Consume Grimoire) and Paladin (45 res Sacred Targe)
- Started the challenge with Lvl 85 Sorc and ended at Lvl 89. Unless Terrorized, Countess runs won't give you great XP. You're better off leveling at Baal runs or TZ areas for exp farm.
- Countess dropped no runes 27 times, 1 rune 304 times, 2 runes 473 times, 3 runes 193 times, 4 runes in only 3 times.
Welp that was a fun challenge to do and hope this statistic helps to other players.
