Description

Hi guys
So past week i have been playing my warlock using bows :)

My take on bowalock is that they are very viable.

My current setup:
Mist on
Demon Crossbow

Enigma for
Teleport
, have fort on standby for certain scenario
The usual mf gears, resist charms in inventory, no phys sunder, due to cursed from heph applies consistantly
Act1 with Faith bow
Binded heph with cursed and might

Maxed demon mastery. Eventually i will rebind heph again to get higher might aura or with
Conviction
.

My experience comparing to my multishot amazon(who i mained before rotw) on P1:

I think bowalock is much better and killing monsters, better at surviability. With all the auras from minions, he basically 1 shot most mobs and have no problem killing diablo,
Baal
within a few seconds

This is with current non min max gears.

Compare to
Echoing Strike
, it is much slower in kill speed BUT with mirror bow, i can shoot from afar and clear at a distant.

Overall, i am enjoying this build, it reqs only 20 pts invested in mirror blades and levi mastery, so u have plenty of extra pts into other trees, for me is to buff my minions.

Im planning to swap out for Brand bow to try it out, but Mist is pretty good for overall dmg, surviability stats n 100%
Pierce
.

Let me know if u also tried out bowalock and ur experience?

Do you mind giving an update on the bowalock with patch 3.2 in mind? 👀

Thx 😎

RotW Druid Europe PC
I run
Mirrored Blades
Mist
Colossus Crossbow
Hex Purge
with double Last Wish act 5 merc, and
Buriza-Do Kyanon
Hex Bane
with act2 Pride+might merc (either/or, one is better at density clearing, the other at single target damage).

Both are incredibly powerful, at least the
Hex Bane
buriza can take down p7 ubers, can stack crushing blow. Either owns both physical and magical
Echoing Strike
warlocks after 3.2 and you save on not using a good ars dul. Currently I'd advise against
Demon Crossbow
because yes, it's faster, but you have little to leech from. And you absolutely want a lot of leeching.
If maxroll calculator is correct Mist
Colossus Crossbow
Hex Purge
reaches the fastest breakpoint for
Mirrored Blades
just like Mist
Demon Crossbow
. Buriza
Hex Bane
reaches second fastest. Needs
Fanaticism
demon to reach those. Preferably with cursed.

My favorite warlock build.

Also my favorite build, but I use a slightly different, budget build. :)

The main drawback of
Buriza-Do Kyanon
and Mist is that they have the "Freezes Target +3" property. This is very annoying when group farming chronicle, because many frozen mobs are destroyed, and the barb-horker cannot loot them, even the Heralds.

Here's the build I use:

https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/at7cdz0y

But there are some nuances worth detailing later. I'll just add that I use
Hex Bane
instead of
Hex Purge
, and this build allows me to keep my inventory almost empty thanks to the massive prebuffs. I haven't tested it on ubers, but even with weaker prebuffs for the lazy, it melts everything in tz96 at 8ppl without any problems.

Pay attention to the set2 tab, this is a set for the
Hex Bane
prebuff, it also uses the
Enchant
from the sorceress and the high BO that a horker can provide.

But in reality it's almost optional, I don't even use Call To Arms because this build is very safe.
