Since I'm using dual HotO on swap (for horking), I've only invested 1 point in Find Item and 20 in Find Potion.
Find Item has diminishing returns on adding +chance , while Find Potion always adds +1% to Find Item per skill point.
So, my 1 point in Find Item turns to 18 on swap thanks to gear + BC. And together with the 37% from Find Potion I ended up with a nice 70% chance to find an item when horking.
Works well enough...

You use ' Find Item' to hork. Kill monsters and when they're dead select your ' Find Item' skill and hold the button to cast it while hovering over a dead body. The body will light up and if you hold the button, your barb will hork all bodies that are near.Whero wrote: 17 hours agoso... what do i cast? You don't actively use the Find Potion skill. You just invest points in it to boost your Find Item skill.
As I remember, today's item price is more valuable than Gold.
The only way to setup this is to get good rate of item find.
That is 37-40 skill level

You need to max hard point into potion find and Find Item. Your Helm , it is either Immortal King's Will or bar Helm +3 and make it to rune word total +5.
I remember the okay average setup is around chance 75(my current setup) . Optimal setup can reach 78-80 , not very sure, I didnt run that far.
The only way to setup this is to get good rate of item find.

Yes! Put 1 skill point in Find Item and put all the other skill points you wanna spend in Find Potion.
