I posted some things for trade and got an offer on one. How is trading usually done? if you want to negotiate I assume you message the person that made the offer or do you do it on the post? Also if you accept an offer do you say so on the post or do you message them directly? To make the trade do you add them as a friend and then send them a message or what? Please excuse my ignorance.

You can message people directly but i prefer to do everything under the post personally. When I'm happy w an offer i just add them and write a reply that i've added them. Most trades here, you'll add eachother on b.net to join through friends and complete the trade that way. But sometimes they'll give you a game name/password to join

There is no right or wrong way (unless you're a Scammy McScammer) to accomplish a trade. However the most common way that it is done here is you post offers and counter offers in the trade post itself. Then once a price is accepted you move the conversation to battle net, or xbox, psn, etc to coordinate a time to meet up and trade.

Io. If you;re looking to make a purchase then search trade for the item/s you're looking for. If there is a fixed price and it's within a range you're able and willing to pay then leave a message and ask when they're available to trade. They will add you on B-net where you will receive a friend request and a message. From there you make arrangements on making the exchange. If they're looking for offers then leave a bid and the will either except or reject it, or someone else might outbid you. If your offer is accepted then follow the instructions and go from there.
