I Binded my first demon on ladder for a boiler/

Tainted Warlock. It is flying Succbus (Temptess or so) from Hihlathak temple. Took me quite a while to find good temple, kill everything dangerous around , unsummon my last

Tainted (cuz they tend to one-hit my lady) and started binding. With very careful hitting (slapping if we are talking about Succbus) with 1-point

Echoing Strike I got her health to 70% or so. Binding took like 5-6 attempts holding button. Finally I seduced her and she is mine.

My word, she is so nice and so worth of one point I spent in

Bind Demon! She is also physical immune and tend to run away from very dangerous situation. She cast

Lower Resist almost constantly. Cannot break most fire immune Mobs at her level. What is not immune is evaporated by my 2*

Before I tried same off ladder but it was Unique and I also had Infinity on my merc. Now I am poor on ladder and I believe she will help me to get my first Sunder charm .

Holy Crap! Lost my hephisto to a dumb Death and went to replace first "I can't do that" Ok so I'll get one from Nightmare shame I'm losing all my maps but whatever. "I can't do that" Damn it really? So reshufle my point get 20 hard in

Bind Demon and return to Hell. Who the @$#% came up with stand there for 5 minutes (Yeah yeah it's exaggerated) before a bind happens? if you can watch THREE goatmen get beat to Death by the one your trying to bind and it's still counting down ITS TOO LONG!

Yeah. Playing Warlock with bound demon you need to be really careful. You start playing like you are on hardcore. Especially if you have that pre-patch one-point wonder Hephasto.
I am wondering if there are people who will ever spend 10-20 minutes to find and Bind a demon to

Consume it and get several minutes buff. On purpose I mean, not by misclicking. If buff will become long-time one, like demon staying with You, then I'll may be consider it.
Now for me

Consume is dangerous skill I am not putting any points there at all.

Fanaticism aura fire immune and magic resistant. Not often I Have to go 'Oh shit he's taking damage.'

did they change shard drop rate since the first day of 3.2? so far in ladder it's definitely more common but not anywhere close to what i was getting before. Was i just really lucky (or now unlucky) ?

Shards are 100% definitely up. Heralds still suck eggs for drops Best drop from 8 in the same TZ (Nilithak) the little midgets triggered it and they happened to be by the bazzilions on the tele floor had to re-find the stairs last place I looked got 7 there and one on the lower floor.
Total drops not blue or White = 2. 1 shard & 1lv 27 unique

Herald's not so much as a wiff of the new Charms. tell panzy or whatever he calls himself he's an asshole for insisting they get more rare!

these weird things in act 5, putrid defilers they are called i believe, used to spawn heralds more frequently before patch. it is no longer the case is it?

Every single

Putrid Defiler, even trash ones, are flagged as bosses in the game, and thus count as elite mobs. Therefore, killing any of them had a chance of drawing ire. The new

Herald mechanic doesn't care if you killed an elite or a normal mob - any monster killed may trigger a

Herald now. So no, Putrid Defilers are no longer special.
