Those only tie to specific area and rotw already experienced huge corpse bug exploit . That makes any loot looks silly.
If you focus on self find, mf can be useful. Otherwise, just focus on blue find. (means, limit your mf to 50-100)

And kind of legal . Just google it but it is kind of waste time and make it not fun.
In old days, I run d3(9 year or more ago) with bot and fill up all equipment almost all perfect in 2 month. Then I dont even want to open it again and I kind of have several month unused fee there.... Those days are crazy, I even rent online vm(cloud service, like amazon aws) because I dont want my pc open. It turns out, after I finish it, open it once and then close game forever...

There is no sweet spot because they nerfed the hell out of MF to introduce the end game elements. What used to be calculated on Clvl & Ilvl has been drastically changed so many items will not drop at previously compliant field bosses. Take Threshsocket killed him about 80 times yesterday result (((1))) Unique. with 350%MF. Yes that could be RNG being a B*tch yet before they changed things for Ubers and other end game distribution Threshsocket would drop Uniques regularly almost all crap uniques but the drop rate of uniques was vastly superior to now.
as things stand you're probably best to have barely any MF to get the roll for MF to happen and stick to as much kill power to plow down the masses to increase how many of those rolls you get. Same for opening chests & such open everything it increases your potential drops from them by volume of chances.
