Can bear one socket from Larzuk for a Rainbow Facet: Fire Death or Defender's Fire as well. Perfect Diamond/ Um, if you lack resists.

Not relevant after PTR and patch 3.2 - Ars Al'Diabolos will be the only off-hand you can use with 2-handed weapons, and thus cementing its best-in-slot potential.

+Fire damage only comes from facets for anyone but sorceress. Up to +25% (30% with facet, or 35% with Defender's Fire) will do wonders to your damage output. Also +5-7 Apocalypse is nuts.

This here book will outclass both Spirit Monarch and Phoenix monarch as a pairing for your mang song's lesson/obsession in your (one) hand for Apocalypse Warlocks after level 80.

Spirit boasts non-fire resistances and life/mana but lacks pure damage potential Ars Al'Diabolos offers.

Phoenix looks good on paper but -fire res is easily available both through conviction and apocalypse itself. Redemption aura is not needed when you have prayer+cure+insight merc and conviction thanks to bind demon.

The book is actually pretty red.
The in-game 3D model has a star at the center, not the head of a demon like the inventory icon.

Level 1 Terror will make monsters (other than super-uniques and bosses) flee from you for 8 seconds. It has a 2.6 yard radius.

Outside of Terror zones, this is the only book that cannot drop from the prime evil it is named after.

Mephisto is capable of dropping Ars Dul'Mephistos

Baal can Drop Ars Tor'Baalos

But Ars Al'Diabolos is too high of an Treasure class to drop off of Diablo (his treasure class is 84).
