i was told sometimes, an
Eth
weapon with high ED (idk how high is high) can sometimes be worth something..
any ideas from the experienced here?

alright, thanks for the feedback man
good rolled affixes, i assume higher ED, maybe ED/AR per level instead of fixed, and dual leech?

Life/Mana stolen per hit is usually not considered good since ethereal rare weapons are mostly used in pvp.
From what I know good affixes are cruel (300% ed), master's (150% ed and 250 ar), quickness (40% ias), fool's (max dmg and ar based on char lvl), grinding (max dmg based on char lvl), self-repair/restoration (repairs durability), mechanic's (2 sockets), of amplifying dmg (ctc amp dmg on striking).
Things I would consider useful but not as good as the previously mentioned are 15 str, -30% req, 20 min/max dmg, 300 ar, +2 barb/pala/eldritch skills, 5 rep life.
Only valuable for pvm are things like leech, prevent monster heal or res.

This is probably not complete and I might be wrong on some points since I'm no pvp player. But this is from what I've learned here over the years. If you have ethereal and at least 3 good rolled affixes from the first list it starts to have value.
