Description

I have a jewel with +35% / +8 min Dmg. I know it is bugged on non weapon slots

I am contemplating putting it in a weapon, but what will the impact be? Specifically the minimum damage -would it go to the base minimum of the weapon or would it be added extra like an off hand source? It the weapon is ethereal, would the minimum damage be added to the base of the weapon before ethereal comes in effect?

put in weapon, no bug

it will be
(+8 min + weapon base d) x (35 ED + weapon ED + ethreal ) x something

Remember to run calculator, recently , I find if you set up your charm, equip properly, ED min damage in 1p actually act like nothing.
You need pass certain criteria to have effect due to round down by monster hp. (2 hit kill become 1 hit kill)

Please be aware, all my trade is in non ladder d2r. Not warlock.

OP
hmmm, Thanks, but i did more research and seems it might not be the case. i don't want to risk it, because it work also require a
Larzuk
.

in this forum from 4 years ago the guys believe that when they socketed a +15/+15 jewel in
Azurewrath
, it actually applied all othe ED multipliers. but the screenshot he attached shows it was the opposite and the +15/+15 was added after the ED:

Azurewrath
perfect roll max dmg is 129. in the screenshot it was 144, meaning the +15 to max damage from jewel went straight to the weapon and was not multiplied by the enhanced damage

What do you mean? The screenshot only shows that a jewel with min and max damage was socketed in an
Azurewrath
. +15 min +15 max, no extra enhanced damage.

By the way, bugs are not shown in the statistics.

But your jewel works in a weapon, you can believe us.

OP
I mean the +8 min dmg from my jewel will be added to the weapon total, but will not be multiplied by the weapon enhanced damage or the weapon etheral.

So it will be flat +8 min dmg. not +8*ethereal bonus* ED

it is +8*ethereal bonus* ED.
this is physical, it will multiply.

Only elemental , like lightning does not apply.
Thus, in the end game, 1 point of max damage is around 10-15 point of lightning damage. 15 max 15 min is around 150 lightning damage, elemental damage still have some effect.
