Past weeks I saw people paying multiple HRs like Sur+ Lo+ Vex+Ists for a Jah. Do people really destroy like 2 Ber to get a Jah? Do they know the amount of time to farm one of those and that the chances are pratical the same ? (like close to zero, never)
Or is it cause ROTW gave us stacking runes which made upgrading affortable, i mean with chest-space?

I don't think people combine high runes.
the market just has so many to offer from the years of farming everyone has done.

I think the only upgrading that made sense historically was 2 Gul to a Vex, and 2 Cham to a Zod. Maybe 2 Sur to a Ber as well. Gul, Cham, and Sur had few timeworn uses. Cham in particular was only really needed for CBF.
Now though, I think these upgrades have been thrown off because a bunch of people want the Sur and Cham runes to complete their chronicles. At least that’s my take, as I can’t figure out what people are demanding Sur runes for.
