For tradability, would it be better to add a socket to Andarial's Visage? More valuable with Ral in the socket?

if you haven't added socket yet, then what I like to do is list it both with and without socket for varying prices

for example, Vex without socket
and Lo with socket (i wouldnt add a Ral - it's better to let buyer choose what to put in there imo)

then let the market decide for ya :)

Depends a bit on your Andy as well. If it's Eth, with good life leech and strenght, all the better.

But socketing a badly rolled Andy is a bit of a waste.

Keep in mind that a socketed item can be easily and cheaply removed with a Hel+TP scroll.

For a Strathezon or any other speed build a good or bad roll makes little or no functional difference. When 5% LL is enough 8% is just fine.

AS Zero187 stated, offer it with socket and non socket price.

For tradeability, an empty socket never hurts.

At least I have never met a single person who went "noooo, I want to have it without a socket! sockets are stupid!" in 20 years. People who go "another socket rush? ugh... yeah, no, I'll just buy that socketed one for slightly more" on the other hand are a dime a dozen.

That having been said, the emphasis is on "empty".

Clean socket = yay, no socket rush needed = ideal tradeability
Ral in socket = " Ral? wtf? nah man..." = can still trade but for many people will have to add a Hel so they can remove your Ral again
