protector's stone bug, I just know ED doesnt work on armor.

+30-50% Enhanced Damage

According to bnet and some asia forum,

this ED is confirm no use if you put this jewel into armor.

This will make this jewel only has min - max damage and - % physical resistance.

10 min damage
30 max damage
-5-10 physical resistance...


To make ED work, you need put it into weapon...which is impossible. Still this jewel is better than 40 ED , 15 ias. or very similar performance.


I didnt pay much attention to this until read it somewhere. Maybe all rotw player already know this...

Those new jewels are broken af. They are so buggy....

This jewel still very strong, like

Phase Blade user, the ED actually not that important.

Anyway, this makes this jewel only roll
5-10 physical resistance for fight ability.

The other side you can choose is MF.
BEST IS -10 physical resistance X exp, 35 MF.

ED is dont care.

if socket in armor

50 ED -7 physical is lose to
30 ED -8 physical .

And according to market, -8 is cheaper...

anyway , I am not Stone user nor rotw player. Just feel interesting people willing to pay more to buy a weaker one...

Arioc's Needle. On par with the strongest alternatives, +4 skills to demon mastery AND can be socketed on top.

Windforce with

Protector's Stone. End of story.

Rune Master or

Tomb Reaver for gourmets.

Windforce, will it stronger compare to use Faith and equip it in

Helm?

Good old ED + min/max damage bug, but applies also on new stuff. TLDR is "if it's socketed in weapon, all fine, else the socketed item's ED is overwritten by maxD and minD"

Thinking back now I seem to remember something about ED jewels back on old D2.

Now with D2R I had gotten for cheap HOZ & Andys that had ED jewels in them. The one and only Protector Jewel I got was 50% ED. Reading this I am a little bummed. It looks like (please correct me if I am wrong) the ED jewels in Andys & HOZ need to get replaced, and the Protector will do me no good in COA.

In short, socket

Protector's Stone inside a

Circlet/

Coronet/

Tiara/

Diadem with %edmg, or socket a weapon. Everything else is bugged.

That's exactly what I'm doing. Act1 merc with Faith and Delirium. WF with protector jewel for me. Is it maximizing dmg? No. Is it a shit-ton of fun? 100%.

I have a plethora of characters that clear faster than her, but she somehow is still more fun than most. Running around sniping stuff is just a blast lol

It is really ridiculous that they haven't fixed this bug years ago. its the perfect jewel to put into a book for a warlock or into a

Helm for loads of chars

Anyway, I feel even if it put in

Helm, reduce phy resistance + min max is enough to beat up perfect rare jewel.

And some people not aware ED is not working in

Helm, means there is chance to get-10 phy resistance 30 ED at low price.

Or sell 50 ED -5 phy resistance high.
