Does "Eligible for Chronicle" vanish after some time?

Description
I recognized that some items I had saved in a mule no longer have the "Eligible for Chronicle" marker. I moved one to the Chars I have found it with (their cube or personal stash) but still no change. Has anybody encountered this, too?

In some other Thread, somebody said that the '"Eligible for Chronicle" marker' do not persist between games...
So you need to identify the item on the same game that it dropped...

They've done some fixing/adjusting to the marker/chronicle attribution.
It does persist through games now so you can leave it UNID, exit, make a new game, ID it and still get it added.
That much I know for sure as I keep doing that and it works just fine (now..didn't for the first few days after RotW).
What I haven't actively tested is whether there's any limit to that, such as "x number of games", "y amount of time" or "can't log off in between" or whathaveyou.
But a single game exit and new game definitely works fine.

There was a bug at least in singleplayer (very likely was a problem in multiplayer too) where those chronicle stuff disappeared even if you had found something. I had already found some of the things and now all of a sudden they are again found as fresh new things.
