Description

I know most here will already know this but just incase I just wanted to put this here. i was explaining this to a friend recently. When building your skill tree the synergy bonuses are super important for maintaining you resource consumption, for instance when building a fire sorc i level Fireball 1 until firebolt is 20, Static Field’s range to 13ish or so. I alternate points into mastery and fire ball keeping my Fireball under 10 mana. This will keep ypu from having to pump energy to respec later. Once i finish all that is when i finally go for Meteor cause i personally believe staic field is way better. As for a zealer i put just enough points into Zeal until i hit 3 times or so. Then i level Sacrifice to 20. The synergy from Sacrifice is more damage then a level of Zeal. And this also helps because you may not always have a super fast weapon during the course of your playthroughs. I personally level Zeal for attack rating as i run through the game. I see a-lot of online and YouTube guides tell you to level your main skill to 20 immediately which is fine if your power leveling. BUT if you running through the game relying on your own strength you will run into resource and other vital stat deficiencies. I hope this helps someone who reads this and best of luck to all

it will depends on your build, some build have mana amulet, mana fcr ring. cta

That you may need to use Token to test best setup several times.

The most important is watch your damage, if you keep farm same scenario, you may not need that high damage. Sometimes , lv 41 blizzard/ Fireball or whatever compare to lv 31 will have exactly same performance.
1p
Key / countress farming... or nightmare rare/soj farming.
In such case, use token to make things more smooth .

Some Trade is available for both rotw and LoD, Most rune , Perfect Gems is only in LoD side.
I will busy at us Stock market open time. 9:30 a.m. ET

It really depends on your gear if you can sustain your mana. If you can (e. g. Spirit helps a lot, so does an Insight on your merc until he gets Infinity), you max Fireball first because points into Fireball increase its damage much more than points into a synergy. So generally, leveling your main damage skill to 20 first is good advice. If you can't sustain mana in early and mid-game, try to make some gear adjustments (e. g. a 3 Tir helmet, a Spirit or just good old Mana flasks!). Sacrifizing damage for lower mana costs should only be a last resort.

Even with these if you have a level 34 sorc with Spirit and Insight merc with Frostburn even you'll still be frantically hitting potions to be able to tele and Fireball. Ntm Spirit makes Fireball cost even more. A level 13 to 21 char will have a much higher dmg per mana output. In fact the dmg per mana output will always be higher this way. And the post does suggest alternating between mastery and Fireball for the damage output. Fireball is an fixed dmg skill, the synergies are percentile. 10% of 100 and 10% of a 1000 are very different numbers.

Both fcr and plus to skills increase mana cost. But that's besides the point. you talking about a finished character. while I'm talking about building a character from scratch. Two very different things

Yeah but that isn't a problem at all because you move and kill much faster. Nobody would ever sacrifize fcr and +skills just to reduce the mana cost. And sorc has the best options to deal with mana costs, once again: Spirit, Prayer Merc +Insight+Cure, Warmth, items with +mana after kill, and if that still isn't enough: Mana and Rej potions.

Your definitely misinterpreting what i wrote, I'm not suggesting sacrificing anything. I'm offering a more efficient way of building while you level up. It'll all be maxed when your finished

Okay, I understand your scenario.

Recently , I play from lv 30-88 .
The way I do it is full of blue potions and no health potion . Pure damage. It will need to re-fill after 1 run.

Yup I've been there myself, I've built so many fire sorc in the past. I'm now champion level 57 ladder, doing 1k to 1.5k per Fireball. All I've really needed is Insight merc to tele. For potions 2slots health(merc’s) 1slot mana 1slot rejuv. And i find plenty of potions while i cruise
