Ultimate Javazon shield?

This shield with x4 5/5 lightning facets.

People’s thoughts on this? Running along griffons & Thunderstroke & sunder

other equipment.

Also it depends on if you get hit or not get hit. if not get hit, 4os Monarch will similar to your post.

If you can 1 hit kill, you might need adjust facet, not 4 +1 +3 facet is best combination.

The shield part is actually, need more defense status. all resist or d absorb

get hit by melee, middle range scenario, forest Nova is better than DR, life, and others.

life usually middle-high choose of all affix.

In 1p , best shield is the one with enough facet to one shot kill and the extra status into defense /utility status. It will be very hard to craft/find.

Socketing 4x +15ias/+3 mana after kill in jmod is also an option. Damage is still OP without Rainbow Facets

I'm running griffons, Thunderstroke, Sunder and Stormshield currently.
But it indeed depends on what players you are on.

Exactly, javamzon need to calculate damage bit by bit. I have several shield socket with 1,2,3,4 facet to run test...

same, even without Infinity it still does so much damage and it's so nice not having to worry about mana. It's very comfy.

I equip 2 soj and have some +mana.
After bo, it will have around 700 mana.
Almost all monster is 1 shot kill in 1p. Not really need Mana Potion even if there is no nix shield.

Also in 1p scenario, Thunderstroke is also an option.

Been using Phoenix shield, but switching to mana leech fcr rings & leech Boots.

Will try Spirit & storm shield

Do like Phoenix, but rather have some better stats on the shield, feels like I’m wasting a big part of the equipment purely for mana.

Javazon's struggle with leeching. Leeching only works with the physical damage portion of attacks, and most of a javazon's attack damage is lightning. Phoenix is definitely an amazing QoL shield. But it you want to go raw damage, try using Silkweave and 2x SoJ. They grant +10% mana and +5 Mana after eachkill. Javazons benefit more from plus to skills and the SoJ give skills plus a massive increase in mana.

Stormshield is great for survivability, not for increased damage. If you aren't struggling to stay alive, I recommend against SS.

But what exactly are you trying to fix? Is there a specific problem or are you trying to maximize/make more efficient your build?

I’ll try the soj rings and Boots.

Just playing around with builds on the javazon. Trying to find a nice balance of pure attack & not needing mana pots.

While retaining some res, got max res all. But flying through mana pots.

Also want my AR higher, without using thr dreaded angelic rings/amu. Not rich enough for 3/20/20

Have you tried Wisdom Helm? You will lose of lot of light dmg and -enemy light res not using Griffons' eye but it comes with 33 piercing (no longer need razor tail, could use t-gods instead), +15-25% attack rating (what you said you needed more of), mana leech (you need more mana), +10 energy (more mana), +5 mana after each kill (more mana), and 15% damage taken goes to mana (even more mana).

Just a thought.

Craft shield that beat up 4 os Monarch or just 4os Eth Monarch

with this, you will have enough damage and enough mana, good light resist
razor's tail only work in cow... WSK , I run both Belt for a while, TGod is slightly better.

I believe the following options should be considered.

1) Phoenix - autopilot mode, not need to use pots, however it adds almost nothing to your damage (phys dmg is not a thing on this build) or mobility. Relatively expensive to make.
2) 4 socket Monarch (JMoD ideally) - depending on what you socket in is a great offensive (facets, ias), and utility/defense (maek, res) option. It adds nothing to your mobility. Very expensive to get.
3) Stormshield - great defensive option. Super budget option.
4) Spirit - defensive (res, life), utility (mana), offensive (+2 skills), mobility when using Enigma (+35 fcr). Not as budget as Stormshield but almost everyone has a few.

I play 1p-3p online mostly and for me java mobility is the limiting factor for clear speed.

therefore I am for using Enigma combined with the 68% breakpoint (griffon +25%, Spirit +35%, ring +10%)
I use 7% FRW skillers instead of life skillers because I do not feel threatened.

Mana is solved by using 2/20 java Caster Gloves (+3 maek) and +1 maek (ring). Mana pots are required but not very frequently

A decent option for ring is the new unique Opalvein (dmg, maek, fcr, resistance). Seems like the ring was created for this build and playstyle.

I would never consider not using Griffon's Eye because it provides so much offensively and for mobility (when teleporting) nothing comes close.

Since 100% Pierce is essential, in my opinion Razortail is not replaceable.

To conclude for me Spirit is the ultimate Java shield.

Really useful information here mate. Very much appreciated, never even heard of these rings. Will be trying my luck with some. I’ll stick with griffons and razors, never intended to change these, just the shield and jewellery really.

If you have a good idea then in my view it's worth exploring, but if you're looking for feedback on what's the best shield for a Lightning Fury Javazon, then like others here, I prefer a Phoenix Shield. It takes care of all my Mana and life leech needs, without compromising it as a powerful build. I do have an Infinity and a Griffon's Eye socketed with a lightning Facet Jewel. I made a short video which should give you some idea as to how fast it can do damage to Diablo, which is usually one or two hits.

there is adjustment possible here.... In case of diablo in this video, the damage is around 80% of diablo life.
So there is room to adjust to make it exactly 60% or 55% . With damage down, you can adjust it to elsewhere. like running speed Belt? or reduce some gc to frw. The overall damage performance is same but run faster...or just not equip so many charms and more space to pick up things...
