VLLD Rare Jewels

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out if these jewels have any value for VLLD:

lvl 5: 5%ed 5max dmg 8% dmg taken goes to mana -15% req
lvl 13: 4min dmg 1-5cold dmg +23%fire res -15%req
lvl 14: 12%ed 9max dmg 4 dex 9% dmg taken goes to mana
lvl 14: 17%ed 8 life 23%poison res 4mf

1 - unsure
2- no value, elemental damage and resistances have no value in PvP
3 - unsure
4- no value, same as 2

PLeasure, wait for a real PvP specialist for 1 and 3, no idea if damage goes to mana has value or not.

In general, yes. DTGTM is the only "reliable" source of mana since leech and maek don't work.

However, the max damage is too low on both of them.

At lvl 9, you can have 9 max dam with one affix or 14 with two.
At lvl 18, you can have 15 (1 affix), resp. 20 (2 affixes).

At lvl 26 you can 24 max damage with 2 affixes.

3 is the closest to being valuable. At lvl 14 you can have up to 6 dex, at lvl 27 you can have 9 dex. You might find a lvl 18 bracket player who wants it but it's not going to make you rich.
Things would be different if there were brackets for lvl 14, 15, 16, or 17, which there are not afaik.

I ended up trading all 4 of them vs 3

Jah, which considering your opinions I suppose it was a good decision to let them go for.

1st question: No, but it depends on the other affixes and obviously how close you are to the max value. Esp. with rares, several medium rolls combined can be worth something.
