Hi, I am a softcore strafezon currently using an upped Goldstrike Arch. Right now she's wearing laying of hand gloves for the increase to demons. But I have been looking at the craft Blood Gloves. Not only do they give life leech and come with CB (this is a huge plus to me), they can also spawn with IAS. So I am thinking if I should start crafting and eventually phase out my LoH gloves. Thanks.
Can be used to make Runewords:

Thanks for the response.krathkor wrote: 1 year agohere's ias breakpoints if u need them...

That calculator looks quite useful, where can I find it? Thx
Edit: actually, for the second image, the one that shows Strafe, why does the FPS column show 3 numbers? What do they mean?
https://warren1001.github.io/IAS_Calculator/
1st number is # of frames to start strafing
2nd is # of frames between each shot
3rd is # of recovery frames after last shot
so with 50ias on the bow u r at 5/3/8
with 30 more ias u can reach 5/3/7; not a big difference
the next breakpoit @120 will give u 2 frame Strafe, a huge increase
but getting an extra 70 ias wonr be easy...

Thank you.
If your end game bow is Windforce, then it has built in knockback so Hit Power Gloves aren't needed. Blood Gloves can be very useful for a bowzon. If you're running an elemental bowzon try to get +2 Bow and Crossbow Skills and 20 IAS. Anything on top of that is gravy. If your running a physical bowzon try and get +2 Passive and Magic with 20 IAS.
If Windforce is not your end game bow and your aren't using Giant Skull, then try and craft Hit Power Gloves (for the knockback). Look for the same skill allocations I mentioned with the Blood Gloves.
However there is nothing wrong with LoH, they are phenomenal gloves. As are Lava Gout (for the CtC Enchant).

For a physical Bowazon you mean gloves like this? I guess I got really lucky this season. It was the fourth or fifth pair of gloves I crafted for my Bowazon. Since I am playing hardcore the plus 2 to passiv and magic skills is awesome. I also have LoH but I am using this pair of gloves.
remake, 2 affix hit / 4. Blood Gloves need 3 hit to be good enough to use. it is kind of old post but new blood.
Favor Perfect Amethyst over Perfect Skull...
These days, I don't need that much Perfect Skull, it is less encourage to pay in Perfect Skull but it will treat slightly better than Perfect Gems.

I get your math, but I'd like to disagree with the evaluation.leox wrote: 1 day agoremake, 2 affix hit / 4. Blood Gloves need 3 hit to be good enough to use. it is kind of old post but new blood.
2 skills, 20 IAS, in combination with 10 CB (max) and 3ll (max) make them absolutely usable and even sellable if you decide to trade them. Not too valuable since 2 affixes are bad (well 25plr is not even a total loss) but still superior to LoH and the other shelf items available for a bow ama.
I've got on SCNL
- Mosaics, Cures, and Hustles
- GG crafted amulets
- Perfect uniques
- Bases

Since this thread got revived, why would physical bowa want +2 passive and magic instead of +2 bow and Crossbow?
Old man still killing demons and yelling at clouds.
Looking for an Um. Msg me if you have one for sale.

Because additional skills on Strafe, multishot and Guided Arrow does less on high levels than Critical Strike, Penetrate, and Pierce. In addition you get a boost for your Valkyrie and the Evade skills.RackAnewShoe wrote: 1 day agoSince this thread got revived, why would physical bowa want +2 passive and magic instead of +2 bow and Crossbow?

Damn, I haven't done a bowa since LOD, so I didn't think of that. Too bad I Charsi'd some 20 IAS, + passive and magic gloves since I thought that only +bow skills had trade value.vued wrote: 1 day agoBecause additional skills on Strafe, multishot and Guided Arrow does less on high levels than Critical Strike, Penetrate, and Pierce. I'll comment as a melee character (not a bowazon). I play as a Fury Werewolf.
My experience is LoH is very powerful for the bonus damage to demons and high fire resist.
However, I prefer using Blood Gloves. The reason is that the crushing blow and other possible mods are good against everything, while the bonus damage to demons is only good against 1/3 of the monsters + bosses. But crushing blow is also good against bosses. As I only have gorerider's (and no other source of crushing blow), I prefer the Blood Gloves to get my CB close to or at 25%.
That's just me though. I prefer generalizability and versatility over specialization. My current Blood Gloves give 20% IAS, 8% crushing blow, and good fire resist. I have a pair I made that have 20% IAS and 10% crushing blow, but they don't have the fire resist which I like. Furtheremore, Blood Gloves give a bonus to life (LoH doesn't have this) and possibly other good stuff.

The LoH vs demon is addition, so it is not as good as you think.
ED is multiple, so it might better for 60 ED than this? My feeling is that Steelrend might beat this.

Where Laying of Hands shine is with a Strafezon also using Andariel's Visage. Andariel's supplies the Life Leech and another 20% IAS, and LOH's 50% to fire resistance offsets the -30% to Fire Resistances. In the meantime you can continue to roll for an ideal pair of Blood Gloves to replace them.
I also crafted a pair of Blood Gloves that have 20% IAS and +25% magic find. Hard to beat that when magic finding with a melee character.
You can count mf break points.hitechhobo wrote: 1 day agoI also crafted a pair of Blood Gloves that have 20% IAS and +25% magic find. Hard to beat that when magic finding with a melee character.
If it cant reach next breakpoints, you may want to use less mf but stronger gloves, difference is small.
