Wind druid would be nice if the
Tornado
would go straight, fucking hate having to go melee to not miss a hit lol.
wanted to try Fury, but the 800 damage
Eth
Tomb Reaver
only has 2 socket, don't feel like wasting my only
Zod
on that crap xD

Druid is my least favorite class. I also don't have a build for it that I find fun. Sorry I can't help.

I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys,
Perfect Gems
, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

If you didn't find any of the other builds fun, I highly doubt
Fire Claws
will seal the deal.

It's the least fun druid build I have tried. And I love playing druid.

Maybe try
Stormlash
Fury+wind?

I only play softcore, non-ladder.

Fire druid was pretty fun. I haven't played it much since the playthrough though. I personally dislike
Fissure
so I maxed boulder,
Volcano
, and armagedon first. No sunder needed either. I didn't really bother with summons much and didn't have Enigma yet. It is fun to break out in cows still though and I will probably circle back to him once I have some spare hrs and time.

I haven't tried fire claw though but it doesn't seem too exciting.

i had a blast with fire druid last ladder season. It felt strong and durable, but definitely needed GG gear. Once i had a nice Flickering Flame and a Phoenix shield it really opened up. It has a mmo style rotation where you aren't spamming the same button, you rotate through a few different skills and i found that very enjoyable.

Currently playing SSF Offline only
93 Javazon - 91 blizz/orb sorc
91
Dragon Tail
assassin - 72 and growing FOHdin
Current goal - offline Enigma. 0.5
Ber
runes away

Fire Druid (
Fissure
,
Armageddon
etc.) is the most fun and the strongest variant, but you need very good gear for it to shine (Infinity, Enigma, Flickering Flame, Phoenix, Heart of the Oak,
Arachnid Mesh
,
The Stone of Jordan
, many Skillers).

I really love the
Werebear
-Zookeeper, but even stuffed with GG gear he is for P1 only. It's the most chilled build in the game, what makes it worth playing, at least for me.

Wind Druid is lame. Fury is meh, and I don't like the
Werewolf
design.

All in all, Druid is just a bad Necro/Sorc/Pala.

ElSolDolLol

For low items I also accept: Perfect Amys,
Ral
,
Hel
, Tokens, Keys. Please don't offer runes lower than
Pul
(with the named exceptions).

NO PM OFFERS PLEASE! BE FAIR AND WRITE INTO THE THREAD :)

Isn't Fury similar to
Frenzy
or zealer ?

Wind Druid is for PVP. PVE for this build is just subpar.

Assuming well geared the
Armageddon
/
Fissure
build is easy for doing solo p8. But you tend to have to mash a lot of buttons i.e. isn't as chill as
Nova
. Also has very high life and a bear...

Fury is not for farming IMO. It's for doing Ubers and DClone. Meta build has very high single target damage.

How about a Fury Druid with Destruction rune word with some synergies for a little aoe. Not sure how I would allocate the skill points though.. or the weapon base.

I did a Fire Claw -
Maul
Werebear
buold myself, following this guide :
forums/something-for-maul-werebear-play ... 79475.html

With non
Eth
Reaper's toll for main weapon (cheap), a Fortitude I had in spare, a Fire sunder and a Metamorphosis offered by Shadowheart.... which made the whole pack really cheap ;) The most expensive was actually the Rogue's merc's Faith (but other options probably work - did not check)

Worked well and fun, even if not my overall favorite it's still in my team of 8 guys. :)

Same as Necrarch. Had a lot of fun with the
Werebear
and the
Maul
/ fireclaws (for hitting) and shockwave for crowd control. The
Werebear
sidesmacking monsters always gives you these bud Spencer vibes... šŸ˜Ž

It actually is! I played with Fire SS Druid on 2 occasions and at both times he rocked! Dunno on high players count tho, but on low & mid, it's mega fun to play with and it's quite strong. I even dropped my gear down to full Aldur's set and it was fine as well and some weaker rings/amu.

For full gear I think I used Flickering Flame in some okay-ish base with I think +3 Lycan (maybe it wasn't even Druid pelt, can't remember), CoH (didn't have extra Forti at that time),
Ribcracker
(but maybe HoJ+Spirit or HoJ+Phoenix would be even better or as Necrarch mentioned something like Reaper's),
Magefist
, Aldur's,
String of Ears
, res leech rings (alt. BK/Ravenfrost) and Maras. I also didn't have full SS skillers, just some random ones including summ. Skills-wise
Hunger
is defo 1 point wonder that can be essential, otherwise just max
Fire Claws
, synergies and SS stuff (in that order but ofc you can start with a couple of points invested into Lycan/
Werebear
)! :)

P.S. You can also try that Cold Druid build, it's very very niche and don't expect Sorc/Javazon clearing speed but it can be very fun and different to go through the game like that plus it's fine even on p8, again don't expect that you will be clearing everything instant but it can somewhat hold (with
Arctic Blast
and
Hurricane
and you can even add the Bear for tanking purposes and/or regular wolfs for even more slow). For him I was using BA Doom+Spirit, Nightwings, CoH, Maras, SoJs, Arach, Trangs and I think Sigon's boots but I think I eventually switched to some dual or triple res ones; here however I had a full Elemental skillers setup with some res SCs. That build will always have a special place in my heart! :D

Ma neeeeeeema veeeeeeeze! xd

Someone much smarter than me already said once: "The real value of something doesn't reflect in a number of how much a seller can ask for it, but on how much a buyer is willing to pay."
