Newbie to Diablo 2 ask a question

Can someone tell me why these runes things sell for so little to the vendors I found a

Ber or something and the lady in act one normal only gave me like 5000

Gold. I thought these were worth more. I need the

Gold to buy more stamina potions.

I'm not sure if you are trolling, but if you actually found a

Ber rune, do not sell it. In fact, don't ever sell any runes unless (a) you have multiple of the same kind and (b) they have a required level less than 30. Higher level runes are rare, and they get rarer and rarer the higher they go. Runes are used to make rune words.

Ber rune is one of the rarest runes and also one of the most coveted because it's used in many powerful rune words.

As for max 5000

Gold - the maximum amount a vendor will pay you for any item is capped per act and difficulty.
Act 1 Normal: max 5,000
Act 2 Normal: max 10,000
Act 3 Normal: max 15,000
Act 4 Normal: max 20,000
Act 5 Normal: max 25,000
Nightmare (any act): max 30,000
Hell (any act): max 35,000

EDIT: This seems like an obvious troll the more I think about. Stamina potions are cheap... lol.

Some of my trades say NON expansion trade and others say wts-non ladder-softcore-pc  that's how it should be  and half my trades say thatthen some say all the same but with the words this is not an expansion pack.and I did not hit any other buttons .
Can you help me plz. don't know how to fix it. I don't know if it means I can't tradedont know any of it now. I have all the chars so I am not a non expansion pack.

I selected yes

if you created your trades before you changed your profile, you need to update them directly.

I tried that with a grand charm
and it came up with non expantion .

well I apprecate all the feed back I will give it a few days and try again with a few items if it does work I just delete all trades. really apprecate your help thank you
