Make it more 'reasonable'. Around 20+ usd (cheaper one, not include something you dont need), it is okay for many people.

And the other way more reasonable is , you buy another account, then it is 10x more than what you pay for 'extra' stash.

Well, it's not like we didn't have "the forbidden site" around for years and years. D2R is already pay-to-win "over here on our side of the globe". And there's plenty of "old school" players and streamers that use it on a regular basis.

IMO Blizzard took long enough to market these pay-to-win features by itself.

And in the end, we don't have to pay if we don't want to. I don't use JSP or use real currency in the game by my own will, because i know plenty of people that do that all the time.

The Cn market is total different culture, people will spend to P2W.

It's a huge market. And it will set a precedent.

If it breathes more life and updates to the base game and introduced a QOL features into a MTX ingame shop - i don't mind.

All the updates up to this point already paid for itself already.

F all of them. Hard. Just another reason (of so, so many by now...) to never touch a Blizz product ever again if even the old ones aren't safe anymore.

Assuming it is just a "bot bundle" for all of their farmers over there, makes sense I guess..albeit still questionable at best.

Either way, there's a reason I was hoping Blizz would just never touch D2:R ever again...

The set appears to be a modified version of Sigon's, so no issue there.
But the 2 SoJs in the most expensive bundle are definitely pay-to-win-ish.

I guess it all comes down to whether or not the Chinese servers are separate from ours.
The "bot bundle" does make sense, though.

I dont understand how you can keep a straight face and say "The "bot bundle" does make sense, though". Nothing in this makes sense. This is the late stage greed type of thing. This has nothing to do with improving or making the game better or anything like that, this is pure blatant greed and the fools will fall for it as they always do. This is why gaming industry has become this grift industry it is today.

I mean this is the kind of thing as if youd start generating AI images of women and start an onlyfans with it. There are losers who do that. This is similar greed. Nothing more. This is harmful to the people, this is harmful to the gaming environment. You cant change my mind about this.

But, from an equally valid business perspective, it does make sense. Servers cost money, and someone will have to pay for them.

There is nothing we can do to change that. Maybe it will stay in China, maybe not. If it doesn't, I'll decide what to do then.

Best part about this is that nobody is forced to buy these and if this pushes to our side, its goodbye for d2r aswell. Ive already buried Diablo immortal and Diablo 4, burying another Diablo game does not hurt. Just got to find a new game to play at that point ^^

That's not an argument. Haven't you already payed for the game ? The cost for servers is included in the price.
Keep in mind D2R is "just" a remade game, so it cost way less money than a from scratch game.

Those items are just an opportunity for Blizzard to easily make more money with almost no work.
