It is Ladder only, i made the same mistake.

This rune word can only be made on ladder.

You can clear the sockets by putting the item in the cube together with a

Hel rune and a

Scroll of Town Portal. The runes will be destroyed in the process.

If you're seeing this rune word on non-ladder it's because someone made it during a previous ladder season then it transferred over to non-ladder at ladder season reset (all characters & items from a ladder season becomes non-ladder after reset, including ladder-only rune words that were made during the ladder season). You can't make this rune word on non-ladder, but you can use existing ones (that were made during a previous ladder season).

Those were introduced like over 2 years ago! I mean, cmon!

Wondering if, when they will move that runeword to non-ladder, if it will magically transforms or if I will need to redo...

As far as I remember, that did happen when the rune words that were ladder-only during seasons 1 & 2 became available on non-ladder in season 3. So if you keep it around it might become a Hustle when/if that happens. But that might be a long wait...

I don't think this rune word (or the other 7 ladder-only rune words) will become available on non-ladder until Blizzard comes up with a new thing that is ladder-only - historically there's always been a difference between ladder and non-ladder, and currently that is this set of 8 rune words that were introduced in season 3 (we're now on season 11).

Yeah, I tried to make a Cure for me ES sor, but found it didn't work.

blizzard will update something in near term. You can wait and keep it in storage 1 season(next one).According to their post, it is year end, just we dont know what it is. A6 or just new runeword, either of which, this rune wold will be available probably.

People really need to learn to check if runeword is ladder or non-ladder. Its funny to see these as personally have learned this lesson hard way back in the original d2 times.

Haven't played for years and by the time I was pretty sure there wasn't runewords locked behind ladder anymore.

I did a quick check but :
So I'd say it's partially @Teebling's fault. LOL!

You are absolutely right! It is very easy to miss out the "ladder only" and imo it could be visible at the bottom, but aswell on top of the page.

It can be very confusing because all these so-called Ladder Only runewords also work in offline SP.

Thats most likely as there are no "seasons" in singleplayer offline. If they were not active in there, no way to obtain them at all and it would make no sense.

In general, in this moment, all runewords of patch 2.6 are ladder only. The other runewords can be made in non-ladder, even offline.
