Hi,
Just experimented using Wolfhowl on Barb class, was surprised that after transformation to wolfbarb, can’t use WW, Frenzy etc… however benefits of wielded weapons still holds.
Life Tap, Fade still works wielding Last Wish.
Question:
Is it possible to swap out Wolfhowl, put on Metamorphosis, get wolf/bear mark, go back to human form and retain the mark buff?
Thanks in advance!

Yep, if Metamorphosis was made on a non-Pelt Druid Helm (which is vary rare to find for sale...)
(and Beast to become Wearbear
)

4) As of Patch 2.6, you can use Metamorphosis to pre-buff "Mark of the Bear" for extra Attack Speed and Damage Reduction before swapping back to Dream.
@Queegon has a whole build around buffing with Metamorphosis (if I'm remembering correctly...). It involves a lot of gear swapping for buffing. The build and play style isn't for the faint of heart.
I'm willing to accept other forms of currency. Like Tokens, Keys, Perfect Gems, and certain minor runes in lieu of my asking price. I'm also willing to accept rune combinations that add up to my asking price.

Who’s @Queegon?
Any url links to posts or threads for his complex swaps?
Thanks!
I looked but couldn't find where Queeqon was talking about it. It could have been over bnet chat...it was a while ago. I mentioned him hoping he will chime in. He might not though since I haven't seen him in a little bit.ohptsh wrote: 3 weeks agoKnappogue wrote: 3 weeks ago@Queegon has a whole build around buffing with Metamorphosis (if I'm remembering correctly...). But @Th3ory did a couple video's on meta that are definitely worth a watch.

A member on this site. Haven’t seen’em around in a bit though. I think the build mentioned was posted somewhere on this forum, just gotta find it lol.
I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.
My profile says Softcore, but I play both Softcore and Hardcore.
My Holy Grail Tracker is for Offline Hardcore.

Yup, you cannot use most of the skills when SS-ed. You usually have to assume you'll need to just use normal attack -- on other non-Druid classes that is.
Same goes for like Paladin (which I'm so close to finish building) BUT at least with him you still benefit from auras which are always active, I'm pretty sure about this (one day I'm soooo gonna enjoy with my polar bear it's not even funny!
)
I did see some skills being available while under SS form but for the life of me can't remember which exactly... Oh well...

Someone much smarter than me already said once: "The real value of something doesn't reflect in a number of how much a seller can ask for it, but on how much a buyer is willing to pay."
From Amazon Basin at https://www.theamazonbasin.com/wiki/index.php/Werewolf;
(hope I haven’t missed anything)
D2R patch 2.4 also enabled shapeshifted Druids to use:
- Once cast, restricted to using the following active skills:
- Attack
- Unsummon
- Scrolls and Tomes of Identify and Town Portal
- Werewolf
- Werebear
- Feral Rage
- Rabies
- Fire Claws
- Hunger
- Fury: Skill
- Summoning
- Armageddon

Yo Yo! That's right; there were issues with the original roll-out of Metamorphosis that were eventually fixed. The tl;dr was that the mark states were restricting you from leveraging certain skills when shifting in/out.Knappogue wrote: 3 weeks agoBut @Th3ory did a couple video's on meta that are definitely worth a watch.
But now that it was fixed as of patch 2.6 [Season 3]. For those duelers out there, especially Barbs via Woflhowl, they have the ability to pre-buff both states on Metamorphosis.
Even elemental druids can still buff themselves if they chose to while shifting back into human form.

Many thanks guys for your inputs

Have at it.
1) BO+BC every 120s
1) Transform to bear, with a + Werebear Metamorphosis that can drop only from areas of lvl 25-36 because it's a lvl 2 staffmod but you need 3 sockets? This saves you a skillpoint, hit something
2) Werewolf, hit something repeat 1) and 2) every 180s
3) Swap meta for Jalal's Mane because with the buffs already applied it's better than Metamorphosis.
4) Cast Hurricane every 50s (you have enough free skill points for lvl 20 Cyclone Armor)
5) Cast Cyclone Armor whenever it goes down
6) Alternate between Fury: Skill and Feral Rage so it never goes away. Keep a count in your head for 20s.
7) Get the best weapon for the area you want to go into. The Reaper's Toll lets you farm anywhere, so easiest overall. Death Decapitator/ Glorious Axe is for bosses and higher player counts. Breath of the Dying Thunder Maul is stronger than either but only in undead-ridden areas.
Alternatively don't swap headgear. I settled on a +3 Fury: Skill, +3 Heart of Wolverine, + 1 Hurricane base for Metamorphosis (saves you three skill points).
Logged in because I saw some 25th anniversary ad/banner with a theoretical promise of even more theoretical patch/content update to D2R.
Other than that my chars are chilling fully geared for the direst of times.
