Description

Wanted to ask the community about
Werewolf
or bear druid.
What do you prefer to use in your hands? Is it better with a two handed weapon? Or can he actually block with a shield when transformed? I mainly play barb but I also play a Fury druid at times because i found the whole aldur's set. So im using a shield, but have not noticed if he can block or not

Can be used to make Runewords:

2 handed weapon is better beause you have bad FBR, FHR.
You have big life pool so hit recovery doesn't triggered often.
You have huge damage ie you steal a ton of life.

Relax and have fun!

Europe PC
Werebear
and
Werewolf
can both block, but Druid in general has the worst block rate out of all classes (together with Necromancer), and they have even worse block rate as a bear (though as a wolf their block rate improves slightly). By block rate I mean how fast they block (or rather, how fast they recover after blocking something), not block chance. I.e., how long you are stuck in block animation.

I'm in CET (Central European Time), so that's UTC+1 normally and UTC+2 during DST.
My profile says Ladder, but I play both Ladder and Non-Ladder.

Most common approach is to use a 2-Hand weapon

Druid swing faster with Polearm, 2-hand axes, 2-hand
Mace
and Staff than with other weapons.

A good choice is a Death or Breath of the Dying ethereal weapon.

Online: workdays (18:00-21:00), weekends (09:00 - 21:00)
Non-Ladder | Softcore | Expansion

Definitely, for Fury wolf something like an ethereal Death
Decapitator
is the ticket. Much physical damage. Look up iluvmf's video on Youtube.

I have an Alder's Set character that is a
Werebear
using
Fire Claws
as the primary attack that works pretty well. Super tanky and does ~12K damage without
Maul
charges. I use him for
Key
farming
Nihlathak
safely. Upped the weapon and added
Shael
runes and a nice gem. Using a Spirit shield and extra points into
Armageddon
for a little extra AOE damage.
