You did not notice if it is a magic one which can get two sockets or a rare one but I doesn't matter. I made a quick comparison (https://maxroll.gg/d2/d2planner/8v4dd0w5) and even a 15% cold dmg Death's Fathom was superior and those are traded for just an Ist.
