Whitstan's Guard. It also provides a large amount of flat damage reduction, which is critical for some builds or anyone trying to survive bugged Tomb Viper damage on their way to
Nihlathak. With its resistances on top, it's one of the best defensive shields in the game alongside
Stormshield.

This is a great candidate for a
Sol Rune to make one of the best defensive shields in the game. Flat 'damage reduced by' can be stacked to provide better physical protection that 'damage reduction %' (which is capped at 50%). If you can pair this shield with the right items, you can considerably nullify the threat of physical damage dealing enemies.

Sol or
