Does the infinite money glitch still work?

Hi, todays festive event is 50% off vendor prices again.
I haven't tried to use this to my advantage yet and was wondering if its still possible to gamble my way to success.

I don't have Greed nor that bow with minus vendor prices.
Are these items necessary? And how does this exploit work?

atleast 1 of them is necessery. the point of this is buying and reselling items to the vendor until you are satisfied.

visit one of the vendors buy an item around 10-15k gold worth and sell it.

The exploit makes it so you can sell items to a vendor's normal trade window and rebuy them at a profit. I make about 20k gold in profit for selling and rebuying an

Ist rune, for example. This is using a 15% Gheeds and Edge. Other people are using circlets or similar items.

Then, by duplicating gold by chain selling and rebuying these items, you can earn infinite, which you can then spend on normally expensive gamble items.

Edge is sooo cheap that I would suggest just making one. Shop a 3os bow from Normal

Amn are all cheap garbage runes someone would probably be willing to give you, and there's 15% buff already. As for Gheeds, I'm not sure what they sell for, but you may be able to snag a low one that's still better than nothing for nothing.

Just make sure you sell the item you are intending to dupe gold with to the vendor's normal screen, NOT their gamble screen, otherwise you can't rebuy.

And for your own sanity and peace of mind, don't use one of your own items as your gold generating token. Use a vendor shop item or a gamble discard so you don't lose anything if you forget to buy it back at the end, or if the vendor's shop tab is full.
