Can be used to make Runewords:
It would be highly unlikely, in my opinion. Sunders are super common and dirt cheap (have been since pretty much day 1), so I don't see a reason for Blizzard to disable their drop at this point.
I have not seen any fresh listings for them since the event started either. Just bumped old ones.
I just had a -90 Light charm drop in outersteps about 2 TZ ago
I got a couple from the 1st day tz cows
I am sure that they drop I get one yesterday.
