Hi there guys.
If someday we get a hypothetical Act 6, what are your thoughts about the Lore??
My idea is that they should do something with Diablo Clone, nothing that changes future events.
Some kind of mage make a clone of diablo without his soul, stuff like that.

Can be used to make Runewords:

This game has a Lore? :O
At least, we must have Cristiano Ronaldo
pm me here (d2. Io) for trade
Something that can preemptively retcon all of Diablo III.

there is some. you can read some more about it here.
Chronological order of novels and other lore writings
No, thanks. It all comes down to 'kill some stuff to kill Diablo to kill Baal to sell Griffons for 3 Ber' anyway. They literally designed the game in a way so it doesn't matter at all.Udyret wrote: 2 years agothere is some. you can read some more about it here.

understandable. i don't care much for lore either. but people got lots of weird fetishes. i hope some time in the future we will have item hunting games without that weird top down perspective of diablo. with super realistic npc's that respond to you cleverly using artificial intelligence instead of pushing a wall of text in you're face. might even be without any leveling either. another weird Fetish that doesn't need to be in a game to make it fun. more like tradition.
Maybe that's for the best because when Chris Metzen tried to make the story more immersive, we got Azmodan telling us whenever he's going to take a bathroom break and Diableah pronouncing "terror" like an ESL student.

I'd love for the 6th act to be a flashback of some sort and we go back in time to Diablo 1 and we get to experience it with modern graphics and all
Xiansai -- the only region alluded to in Diablo II - Diablo III ... but not accessible in any of the Diablo games.
Issue with all the Lore of long running franchises is just simply the fact that the only way apparently that these people know to add tensions to their sequals is to up the antics. So first, a local area is under threat, then perhaps a whole continent, then the whole world, the universe, the multivers, the multi-multiverse and god knows what else they come up with. I mean just look at the MCU and to a similar degree this does also affect Diablo and my good, Warcaft 3 was already massive in terms of the stacks, but holy shit, WoW just goes bonkers with all these Tropes.
Anyway, that being said, I think it would be the easiest to go like back to Tristram into the Cathedral (no self-intrest here, given that D1 has the strongest flair of all the games, by far). Could just say the Corpse of Prince Albert has a Shard of the Diablo's Soulstone left in his head and with the Destruction of the Worldstone it came back to live and all the other monsters around him.

I would love to fight all the Fallen (player) heroes in act6!
So everyone who died (e.g. in Ladder) will spawn as a monster in act6. An army of (teleporting) Hammadins, Frenzybarbs, Crybarbs, Javas, Necros, Assasins, Druids and Sorcs with pretty good equipment and enchants, high res, max block, and so on will appear and make your world a hardcore Pv(N)P(C) arena.

Take this potion of LUCK
You play in a different language and want to trade an item with the name "Brennender Riesenzauber der VerstĆ¼mmelung"?
Use the Baaltor tool to translate it into "Burning Grand Charm of Maiming"

I would suggest gas chambers.
GLORY, GLORY, GLORIA,
GET READY FOR THE WAR!
A sixth act would be nice, but I'd prefer a fourth difficulty level so the grind to level 99 becomes less painful.
I play both ladder and non-ladder.
Or simply "complete" act 4 ?
With the angels council and somd additional contents, leading to DClone indeed. We could face Malthael before he gets mad...

Main: Necromancer / Second: Assassin / Third: Amazon / Check my stash, my crafts and my many cheap Annihilus
Yeah, Act 4 was rushed seeing as how it has half the quests and it's been said that content was cut from it to meet deadlines. Blizzard North supposedly liked the end result with the sense of urgency in getting to Diablo, but then Act 5 kind of messed up that pacing.
Restoring the original vision of Act 4 would be a more realistic content addition if the game were to ever get any more.
